David Letterman: This Pervert Has To Go!

Enough is enough! As you all know, David Letterman that slope headed buck tooth pervert has made several jokes about Governor Sarah Palin and her 14 year old daughter. He gave a sorry ass apology, which basically said, jokes about raping a 14 year old is bad, but raping an 18 year old is OK! Sorry Dave, but that just won't do.

We on the right have been malign by the left for far too long. Letterman's perverted jokes are the lasted in a string of misogynistic attacks against conservative women. Recently there was the attacks against Carrie Prejean for simply speaking her mind, Playboy's rape list against conservative women and a week long screed against Palin on every news station. When do we say enough?

I say, we say it now! Over at Conservatives4Palin, Hillbuzz, The New Agenda and TeamSarah they are all taking action. They are calling Letterman's sponsors to ask if they support jokes about raping a 14 year old!

Complaining to the Late Show, CBS or FCC is all well and good, but in these hard economic times, no company can afford to have their goods and services tarnished by being associated with statutory rape or misogyny. Contact sponsors like Kellogg's and ask them, does Kellogg's support statutory rape of 14 year olds? Keep asking them everyday until they stop supporting perverts like David Letterman. Trust me folks this stuff works.

Where do you start? Click on over to Hillbuzz, they have a list of Letterman's top sponsors, complete with contact info to the CEO, CFO, COO and other top brass. They give guidelines on how to craft and send yours letters to these companies. Once your letter is finished mail it and then POST IT ON YOUR BLOG! In the title ask; Does The Olive Garden support raping 14 year olds? If enough of us bloggers post our letters, then these products will show up on search engines with our questions to them.

I am crafting my letter today and will post it here for all to see. For those of you who are one the fence, ask yourself this: Do you want your daughter, niece, granddaughter, sister , wife or mother to live in a world where they are pilloried, insulted or demean because they do not conform to someone else's views, and therefore are not worthy of respect?

This behavior has to end somewhere, so we might as well start with David Letterman...The Pervert!

  1. I have a 13 year-old daughter and his comment makes me want to take him in a dark alley for about 5 minutes. I've always knew he's a pervert as well as Larry King. Frankly, both of them give me the creeps and I don't understand their rating appeals. They're not funny or entertaining.

Hey, Letterman, top 10 reasons not to watch David letterman,

    10) He's stupid
    9) He's a liberal (alas, I repeated #10)
    8) He's a hyprocrite (alas I repeated 9 and 10)
    7) He's not funny
    6) He's not entertaining
    5) Watching grass grow is more exciting
    4) He's a blight to free speech
    3) He's a blight to my eyes
    2) He's a blight to my ears
    1) being an useful idiot liberal, he's a sick pig that has no respect for women unless they're gay militants.

  3. Madmath1...I like the top ten list.

Letterman, the hyprocrite, must have forgotten that he knocked up his girlfriend and had a baby before he broke down and married her. I didn't here any nasty jokes about his wife.

The left is out to marginalize Sarah Palin any way they can, even at the expense of her children.

    Shame on them.

  5. Personally, I never understood the appeal of his show. When he started out, he was the only thing on tv after midnight. It was letterman or the friggen test pattern. Thing is, he wasn't even funny then, and he's gone downhill ever since.
He's simply a mean little man surrounded by people who are a constant reminder of his own lack of talent.

  7. It is not about Letterman or his show; this is all about respect to young women across America. Freedom of speech is great, but with freedom comes a responsibility, especially on major TV show.

  8. I've never watched Letterman.

I have, however, seen replays of his interactions with O'Reilly (courtesy of O'Reilly) and Letterman always comes off looking like an ass unable to make a single logical argument.

He'snot at all funny and his "humor", such as it is, amounts to demeaning those he disagrees with...and YET, he's never able to explain, nor defend what he claims to believe in....like most Liberals.

The WORST thing about the "Willow Palin joke" is that it was a nod and a wink from a pop culture icon implying that pedophilia (sex with a 14 y/o is pedophilia) is no big deal.

There's really no other way to put this, David Letterman is a scumbag...a dangerous and depraved scumbag to boot.

I like the idea of contacting sponsors in this case, I don't usually support such calls, as they can have a chilling effect on free expression, but implying that pedophilia is OK is NOT "free expression" it's the endorsement of a vile perversion and an afront to tue freedom of expression.

  9. Madmath:

I agree with you Top Ten. I never found him funny, and only found Leno funny on occasion. To me, the late night comics are as annoying as those vapid morning radio shows. Ugh!

Yes, everyone seems to have forgotten about old Dave's out of wedlock child. Talk about a pot and kettle moment.

  11. Emptysuit:

I never really stayed up for Letterman or Leno. From the clips I have seen over the years, I have only found Leno funny on occasion, Dave...never.

Welcome to ABC! You are right, Dave has been on too long (time for a forced retirement). His audience is clearly NYC liberals.

Ding, ding, ding! Give that man a silver dollar!

  15. JMK:

I have come to embrace the going after advertiser method. First, because our media leans so far left, it is almost impossible to voice disapproval through normal channels. Secondly, boycotting or pressuring supporters of Dave is free speech. We are free to express our dissatisfaction with his remarks as we see fit.
