I never really paid much attention to Jake Tapper during the Bush Administration, basically because, I like most conservatives, totally abandoned the network news. Their complete and transparent bias against conservatives makes their information completely worthless. However, more and more, I find myself noticing Tapper's reporting, because he actually asks real questions.
Most of the media has decided that they will not ask hard questions of the Obama administration. They stick to asking basic questions and totally forget about follow ups, like the answer came from God himself. MSNBC and CNN have actually taken to actively shilling for Obama. They defend his policies against opposing voices. Jake Tapper on the other hand seems to have missed the memo to go easy on the Obama Administration.
I first noticed Tapper when he started asking hard questions to that buffoon Robert Gibbs. Seeing old Gibbsy stammer out an answer and skip over Tapper, was priceless!

Tapper also seems to have some pretty interesting blog post over at ABC News' Political Punch. Check out this post he has today:
ABC News' Jake Tapper and Sunlen Miller report: The other day we heard a comment from a White House aide that never would have been uttered during the primaries or general election campaign.
During a conference call in preparation for for President Obama's trip to Cairo, Egypt, where he will address the Muslim world, deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications Denis McDonough said "the President himself experienced Islam on three continents before he was able to -- or before he's been able to visit, really, the heart of the Islamic world -- you know, growing up in Indonesia, having a Muslim father -- obviously Muslim Americans (are) a key part of Illinois and Chicago."
I have also been informed that he is also worth following on Twitter. If Tapper keeps acting like a real reporter, I think he will have to seek employment with Fox News before 2012!
UPDATE:
Here is a good example of what MSM is all about today. Perhaps Brian Williams thought he was saying good night to a Suadi Prince?

Besides Brian Williams' "I think I'm turning Japanese, I really think so" bow, what about Obama's "That's a good boy" pat on the shoulder, and his attitude? In his mind he's King Obama. It really amazing how he can front like a man of great accomplishment so good without having any. Somebody might say, what? he got elected President! True that but he had this front before he got elected and it's mostly this front that made it happen. Pretty damn amazing. Almost like he been programmed, like he's somebody's creation.
Count Busy:
Yeah, after Obama's pat, I kind of expected Williams to retreat backward with head bowed like those servants of old.
Fronting that you have skills is one thing, actually believing you do is when someone comes along a steals your lunch (cue Kim Jong Il).
