So Bonnie Erbe thinks Michelle Malkin deserves a Hate #$%&

As some of you may know, Playboy.com recently removed an article by Guy Cimbalo from its site. The article was about conservative women that men would like to Hate[insert F-bomb here]. You can read all about the details here, here, here and here.

Well, today on Michelle Malkin’s blog, Michelle points to a post by Bonnie Erbe, host of an obscure PBS show “To The Contrary”. In Erbe’s post she supposedly speaks out against Playboy’s blatant misogyny against conservative women. Needless to say, that Erbe could not help but to follow the old feminist ploy of sticking up for some women as opposed to sticking up for all women.

Here is what she said:

…I also want to note that at least one woman on the list is so venom-spewing, she unfortunately invites venom to be shot back at her: Michelle Malkin. Her posts and her “routine” are so venomous and predictable, in fact, I stopped paying attention to her years ago.

So lets get this straight, Bonnie thinks Michelle Malkin deserves a Hate#$%@, because she doesn’t like what Malkin has to say (or rather, what Malkin said in the past, because Bonnie doesn’t read her any more). Meanwhile, Bonnie Erbe, is suppose to be one of these important feminist types who stands as the vanguard against the meanness of our patriarchal society. Yet, here she is playing gadfly with her support and defense of conservative women.

This is why feminism has become a big fat joke. Nobody is buying this BS anymore. We all know that the current feminist movement is nothing more than a minority of women supporting left wing causes. They simply do not represent or speak out for “all” women.

This isn’t the first time I caught Bonnie babe out there diss-ing conservative women. A couple of months ago Bonnie was trying to belittle Governor Palin as a “sex kitten”. I left this reply on that article. It was true then and rings true today.

Laughing at your own extinction.

Bonnie, Bonnie, Bonnie, really now “sex kitten”? Remarks like this are exactly why Governor Palin is making feminists like you extinct. So married are you and your outdated feminist ilk to leftist dogma, that you would turn on another woman who has achieved almost all your feminist goals except embracing Choice. It is this constant complete lack of support for a broad range of women, why today’s feminist movement is a public joke.

Governor Palin is bringing a new perspective to feminism. One where unabashed femininity is OK, one where family trumps government assistance and one where Choice actually means one can be Pro-Life! Palin’s feminism is far more inclusive than yours. She is the new model. You can snicker and snark all you want, but the second Palin stepped into the national spotlight, you and your non-supportive old school feminist sisters were shown the door to history.

Note: before anyone jumps on me for calling Bonnie “babe”, let me say this, I said it on purpose. I did it because I have no respect for women like Bonnie who masquerade as serious minded women while hiding behind the veneer of feminism.
