Entertainment Weekly: First the U.S. automaker recession, and now this. Charlie Sheen unleashed his Violent Torpedo of Truth Tour on the Motor City on Saturday night before a crowd that greeted the actor with an adoring standing ovation and concluded with booing and walk-outs. The padded and disjointed show was a hodgepodge of video clips and Sheen-isms that felt hastily assembled and misjudged the patience of even the hardest of hardcore fans. [...]I know this isn't politics, but some things are just so out there you have to say a little something-something.
I caught Charlie Sheen's wacko interviews and even peeped some of his crazy online antics. For me it was like watching one of those old Coney Island freak shows. That being said, I cannot imagine wasting any of my hard earned money to see an entire show of that stuff. What were these people expecting, coherent stand up comedy?
One of the big underpinnings behind Sheen being entertaining is the fact that the man was having a meltdown. For whatever reason, we all love to watch those who reached the top have a spectacular crash to the bottom. Putting on a show and taking it on the road, isn't exactly crashing to the bottom. To make matters worse, it appears Sheen just did not have enough material for a show.
Hopefully this bomb will speed the end of the Sheen fad.

He's a mediocre talent who only got a shot because of his father.... he's a horrible actor but his timing is excellent....... and now his time is up
