Sarah Palin: Crony Capitalism on Steroids from GE to Solyndra

When everyone was looking for Sarah Palin to make the "Big Announcement" in Iowa on September 3, Sarah quietly introduced a new theme into the 2012 campaign ... Crony Capitalism. So effective was her speech that The New York Times of all places took notice.

In the speech Palin, points out something we should all have noticed, (had we not had our Red and Blue colored glasses firmly in place) that both the right and the left are correct as to what is kill our nation. On the right, we see Big Government as the killer or liberty and freedom. On the left, they see Big Business as the threat to the little guy. The truth is that it is the collusion of the Big Government and Big Business that is messing things up for this nation.

In her latest Facebook post, Palin illustrates how this collusion is on full display with GE, Solyndra and the Obama administration.

Sarah Palin on Facebook: In my recent speech in Iowa, some eyebrows were raised when I took on our government’s enormous economic problems caused by crony capitalism. As if on cue, just days later President Obama selected someone who exemplifies a major crony capitalism problem to sit next to the First Lady when he delivered his “jobs plan” speech before Congress. He selected General Electric CEO Jeffrey Immelt as his honored guest.
Having grown up with great respect for GE thanks to stories my grandfather shared with us about his days working for the company and even meeting GE spokesman-at-the-time Ronald Reagan during a company event, I am saddened at GE’s leadership evolution. This corporation is now the poster child of corporate welfare and crony capitalism.
This icon of American industry is a company full of good employees who make some good products (and is the parent company of a huge media outlet), but GE is also a large American corporation that pays virtually no corporate income taxes despite earning worldwide profits of $14.2 billion last year, $5.1 billion of it in the United States. In fact, they claimed a tax benefit of $3.2 billion, meaning they received more of our hard earned tax dollars than they contributed. How is that possible? It’s because not only do they shelter their money from taxes, but they also get many tax credits, loans, government grants, and other benefits from the federal government that our smaller businesses couldn’t even imagine being able to profit from. [MORE]
Expect to hear more about Crony Capitalism as the 2012 race pushes on.

The Big Announcement? Palin to keynote Tea Party rally in Iowa

Real Clear Politics: In the latest indication that her sights are still set on a presidential run, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has accepted an invitation to keynote a Tea Party rally in Waukee, Iowa, on Sept. 3, RealClearPolitics has learned.

The Labor Day weekend visit to the nation's first voting state comes after Palin indicated during an appearance on Fox News earlier this month that she would make her decision about whether to launch a campaign in August or September.
All signs now point to September as the month when Palin would throw her hat into the ring, as logistical concerns ranging from fundraising to getting her name on the ballot in various states would likely preclude further delay. [MORE]
As my regular readers know, I have always believed that Palin would run in 2012. For me the question has always been what would she run for. Will she run to win the White House or will she run just to shape the GOP field? She has the power to do both, so time will actually tell.

I cannot think of a better time or venue for Palin to announce. A TEA Party rally with the theme of "Restoring America" is tailor made for Palin who constantly works in themes or restore, renew and revive. As everyone knows,
September 3rd would be cutting it close for throwing in your hat for 2012.

While a Palin announcement would be sure to generate wall to wall coverage on any given day, an announcement on September 3rd would guarantee she would dominate a slow news weekend for three days. Three crucial days when Americans are actually getting together with family and discussing things like politics. This would be a classic Palin media manipulation.

One way or another, Palin will have to make her 2012 intentions clear by Labor Day.

That's Sarah Palin® to you! Sarah Palin trademarks her name

The Atlantic: A few months ago, an attorney for Sarah and Bristol Palin put in an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to trademark their names. (One of many things that suggests that profit, and not the presidency, is what's motivating Palin.) For Sarah Palin, the intent was a little less clear cut than it was for her daughter, as this article in Politics Daily made clear:
For Sarah Palin's application, there are two classes of commercial service for which her name would be a registered trademark. One is for "information about political elections" and "providing a website featuring information about political issues." The second is for "educational and entertainment services ... providing motivational speaking services in the field of politics, culture, business and values.
The "Bristol Palin" application is for "educational and entertainment services, namely, providing motivational speaking services in the field of life choices."
According to the same reporter, the deadline to challenge Palin's application passed on Friday and -- amazingly -- nobody seems to have challenged it. So it looks like the Patent and Trademark Office will award both patents trademarks in the near future. Better hold off on those bootleg Palin T-shirts you were thinking about printing up. For anyone who's curious, here's Palin's trademark application.
I beg to differ. While most see a profit motive, I see a very crafty way to kill a lot of that anti Palin crap floating about the net. If Palin is trademarked, all those anti Palin websites, tee shirts and other nasty things will be infringing on her trademark. Either they pay up or they shut down. If you are running for president, what better way to protect yourself and your image from the hoards of lefties who will try to smear you?

The media and the left won't see it that way because they are locked into the idea that Palin is not running and that she is all about the money. However, if Palin is running she just bought herself one powerful weapon against those who want to smear her. Just take a look at what trademark infringement entails.

Michele Bachmann to Ed Rollins: Apologize to Team Palin

Behold the power of Palin.
Hot Air: When you’ve got a puppy with a habit of crapping on the carpet, you may need to rub his face in it to set him right.
Serious candidates require serious message discipline, and as of last Monday’s debate, she’s most definitely a serious candidate:
“We need Mrs. Bachmann out front and we need the campaign to be a real campaign with one spokesperson and a disciplined message,” said one Bachmann adviser granted anonymity to speak candidly about strategy…
Bachmann’s newly installed political team has had its own battles with message discipline — typified by campaign manager Ed Rollins’ recent comments alleging that former Alaska governor Sarah Palin hasn’t been “serious” over the last few years.
After the incident, Bachmann was “very firm” with Rollins, according to an adviser to the congresswoman, telling him this should not happen again and that there should be “no more press”. Bachmann also demanded that Rollins call the Palin people and apologize. “She is definitely not tone deaf,” the source added.
Bachmann’s move to limit her exposure in the wake of her debate performance is a smart strategy designed to avoid accidentally trampling on the momentum she built with that performance.
You knew this had to come sooner or later. If Michele Bachmann wants any chance of being "the" conservative candidate, she is going to have to be in good graces with Palinistas. As pundit after pundit tries to write off Palin 2012, it is clear Palin will play a major role in this election whether she runs of not.

I still think Palin is running in 2012 (have you seen this SarahPAC letter?). I still think the real question everyone should be asking is if Palin will run to win the nomination or run to shape the nomination. Either way, consider Ed Rollins officially spanked.

The Palin Emails: Undoing the damage

Well the Lamestream Media have been pouring over Sarah Palin's emails for three days now and all they have to show for it is a whole lot of nothing. Over the past three days I have been checking out The Washington Post, The New York Times, The LA Times and other sources to see if any of them have found "the bombshell" they were looking for.

Instead of a bombshell, all they have come away with is a collection of silly stuff that they are trying to make hay over. They have even started telling old stories like they are hearing them for the first time. Here is an example from The UK Daily Mail:
Sarah Palin imagined God talking to her in a deeply touching email she wrote two weeks before her fifth child, Trig, was born with Down's Syndrome, it was revealed today.
The poignant message to family and friends, included in 25,000 pages of her private emails made public on Friday, may alter the way the former Governor of Alaska is viewed by the American public.

In April 2008, two weeks before Trig was born with Down's Syndrome, Mrs Palin sent the email to her friends and family from her official government account.

In the touching message, Mrs Palin writes from the voice of God, as 'Trig's creator, your heavenly father'.
She addresses the 'unreal, sad and confusing' news that her soon-to-be born child will have Down's Syndrome.
The letter's existence had previously known, but only very brief excerpts had been made public.
If the Daily Mail would have read Going Rogue, they would have known about the letter and read it in its entirety. This is very old news and nothing bombshell like at all.

The real bombshell that is coming out of these emails appears to be that the media is finding out Palin isn't the evil monster they tried to portray her as. I think in the media's rush to destroy Palin by sensationalizing these emails, they may have just helped Palin to resurrect her public image. Game, match, point Palin!

WaPo & NYT to The Palin Haters: All Hands On Deck!

Tomorrow the state of Alaska will release over 24,000 emails from Sarah Palin's yahoo account. To say the left is salivating at the chance to find/ make up new dirt on Palin would be an understatement. So rabid is their hatred for Palin both the Washington Post and The New York Times are asking their readers to help in the muckraking (mudslinging).
The New York Times: On Friday, the State of Alaska will release more than 24,000 of Sarah Palin’s e-mails covering much of her tenure as governor of Alaska. Times reporters will be in Juneau, the state capital, to begin the process of reviewing the e-mails, which we will be posting on NYtimes.com starting on Friday afternoon.
We’re asking readers to help us identify interesting and newsworthy e-mails, people and events that we may want to highlight. Interested users can fill out a simple form to describe the nature of the e-mail, and provide a name and e-mail address so we’ll know who should get the credit. Join us here on Friday afternoon and into the weekend to participate.
The Washington Post: Over 24,000 e-mail messages to and from former Alaska governorSarah Palin during her tenure as Alaska's governor will be released Friday. That's a lot of e-mail for us to review so we're looking for some help from Fix readers to analyze, contextualize, and research those e-mails right alongside Post reporters over the days following the release.
We are limiting this to just 100 spots for people who will work collaboratively in small teams to surface the most important information from the e-mails. Participants can join from anywhere with a computer and an Internet connection.
The Washington Post appears to have jumped the shark a little too much. The blistering response from the reader's comments has forced them to drop the idea of hand picking their Palin Haters. WaPo will instead follow the New York Times model.

This method of using readers to dig dirt is actually called crowd sourcing. It is a method of mine data. What I want to know is why didn't the New York Times or the Washington Post employ this method on something that is truly vital to America like the 3,000 pages of ObamaCare. We all know no one in Washington read that monster before it passed. Yet, here are two supposedly legitimate newspapers getting a mob together to create a Palin Hating gang bang. The whole thing reeks of media bias and fascism to me.

One thing for sure, Sarah Palin's greatest strength is that she generates so much hate from the left, that they are willing to drop all their phony veneers of compassion, tolerance, objectivity, you name it just to smear her. This unmasking will only work in her favor.

You know what would serve The Washington Post and The New York Times right? If everyone who likes Palin or who hates media bias read the emails and just draw attention to the nice ones. You know point out emails where Palin says something nice to her kids or shares a recipe or does something for a constituent. We should flood both papers with a gazzion tips on how wonderful Palin is. Make both newspapers sift through more tips than the actual number of emails just to find the dirt they are looking for. Hey, in these tough economic times, if we have to work like dogs to make a living, shouldn't the folks at WaPo and the Times have to do the same?

By the way, make sure to check out the comment at The Washington Post, they are blistering

New SarahPAC video: American Foundations

There is a new video out on SarahPAC. It uses video from Palin's One Nation tour.

Our family has been blessed with an opportunity to showcase all that is good and strong and free about our exceptional nation.
Even though the media too often sadly chose sound-bites over substance, they did get lots of substance during our “One Nation” tour from the nearly two dozen opportunities I got to speak candidly with them and talk about policy, politics, history, and everything in between. More importantly, I got to talk with countless everyday Americans who want to get our country back on the right track.
It’s been an extraordinary honor to meet so many fellow patriots who care deeply about this country, who want a brighter future for all of us, and who recognize the undeviating line that connects our history to our future.
Not surprising, some members of the media missed a lot of this due to their relentless and futile search for scuttlebutt. So, we assembled this video to capture the amazing Americana spirit of the places and people we visited. I invite you to enjoy this recap of last week’s east coast bus tour.
Please remember we must learn about our past – our great successes, our bitter struggles, our enduring strength – in order to navigate through the challenges ahead so that we might remain a shining city on a hill and the abiding beacon of freedom.
As we look to our Charters of Liberty and our strong foundation to fundamentally restore America, we’ll keep moving forward… and we’ll keep reporting on it ourselves.
- Sarah Palin
I don't care what Sarah says, this is a campaign video if ever I saw one. This video could easily be chopped up into several rather effective campaign ads. If I had to guess, it seems like Sarah is already fighting the general election. Not a bad idea considering she has proven she can rain all over the unofficial frontrunner's campaign at will.

I like the concept of using America's founding as theme for a campaign. It idea dovetails flawlessly with TEA Party principles and I have always thought of Palin as the reset button to Obama's fundemental transformation of America.

Bachmann 2012 - The damage is already done

Yesterday, Michele Bachmann's new campaign manager Ed Rollins let fly so pretty crude attacks on Sarah Palin. Of course, the media jumped at the chance to trumpet that the Palin-Bachmann cat fight is on. However, the way I see it, it is already over.

First, the blow back from Rollin's comments are already rolling in and Team Palin is demanding a retraction. Second, and most importantly, the very voters who would support Bachmann are completely turned off by Rollins and his comments. Without these voters, Bachmann is going to get very far in this race.

But the biggest damage Rollins did to the Bachmann campaign, is that he gave Sarah Palin the very line of attack she was looking for against Bachmann.

On Sunday, when Chris Wallace interviewed Sarah Palin, Wallace asked Palin about Michele Bachmann. Palin hinted that her executive experience trumped Bachmann (see the 23:15 mark).

What better way to point out Bachmann's lack of chief executive experience than to say that she did not know how to pick the right campaign manager? You cannot get a better example of that then with Ed Rollins.

While it maybe very unfortunate that Bachmann is sunk before she even sets sail for 2012, it does help conservatives to narrow their choice for 2012. If Bachmann is out, then the two real contenders for 2012 will be Herman Cain and Sarah Palin (yeah, she is going to run).

Ed Rollins, Bachmann's new campaign manager says Palin "has not been serious"

The other day Michelle Bachmann added political strategist Ed Rollins to run her presidential campaign. Rollins was Mike Hukabee’s national campaign director in 2008.

I thought it was kind of a odd choice for someone who wants to claim the TEA Party mantle. Well today, Ed Rollins takes a swipe at Palin and proves to me that he will be a very odd fit with Bachmann.

Politico: Michele Bachmann's new top consultant, Ed Rollins, began his tenure with scathing criticism of potential Bachmann rival Sarah Palin.
"Sarah has not been serious over the last couple of years," Rollins told Brian Kilmeade on his radio show, Kilmeade and Friends. "She got the Vice Presidential thing handed to her, she didn't go to work in the sense of trying to gain more substance, she gave up her governorship."
He suggested that the contrast would favor Bachmann.
"Michele Bachmann and others [have] worked hard, she has been a leader of the Tea Party which is a very important element here, she has been an attorney, she has done important things with family values."
"She is probably the best communicator [in the GOP field] now that Mike Huckabee's not in there," he said.
Rollins has long been skeptical of Palin, but his new role with Bachmann suggests that criticism will become part of her campaign, though she has publicly praised the former Alaska governor.
If Rollin's strategy is to elevate Bachmann by stepping on Palin, then I am afraid that Bachmann's 2012 chances are ruined before they begun.

While it is true that Bachmann and Palin share the many of the same voters, Palin's fans are beyond fiercely loyal. Should Palin not run, these Palin fans will beat a path to Herman Cain rather than support a Republican who condoned bashing Palin.

Rollin's strategy also shows he is clueless about how Bachmann matches up to Palin. If any of these early polls are to be believed, then it should be obvious to Rollins that Palin has the greater support among the base, because Palin consistently polls higher than Bachmann. Again, how does it serve Bachmann?

It is almost like Rollins want Palin and Bachmann voters to make their choices now rather than later. That will certainly happen if Palin fans feel that their gal is under attack. I cannot see how that ends well for Bachmann.

If I were Bachmann I would can this clown immediately and in the most public way. Keeping Rollins on will only doom her chances with the very people who would be her most enthusiastic supporters.

Not so crazy - Howard Dean: Palin could beat Obama

Howard Dean is now the latest most notable lefty to warn Palin could beat Obama (Andrew Sullivan, and Donna Brazile are others). Dean warns that with a weak economy Palin has a chance.
The Hill: Howard Dean, the former Democratic National Committee chairman who helped Democrats capture the White House in 2008, warns that Sarah Palin could defeat President Obama in 2012.
Dean says his fellow Democrats should beware of inside-the-Beltway conventional wisdom that Obama would crush Palin in a general-election contest next year.
“I think she could win,” Dean told The Hill in an interview Friday. “She wouldn’t be my first choice if I were a Republican but I think she could win.”

Dean warns the sluggish economy could have more of a political impact than many Washington strategists and pundits assume.
“Any time you have a contest — particularly when unemployment is as high as it is — nobody gets a walkover,” Dean said. “Whoever the Republicans nominate, including people like Sarah Palin, whom the inside-the-Beltway crowd dismisses — my view is if you get the nomination of a major party, you can win the presidency, I don’t care what people write about you inside the Beltway,” Dean said. [MORE]
Whether Howard Dean actually meant this remains to be seen. However, what he says is true.

The media is in overdrive trying to sell the narrative that Obama is hard to beat in 2012. They are using early polling to show that Obama will beat all the Republican 2012 hopefuls. This is nonsense. The 2012 elections are just under a year and a half away.

In politics a year and a half might as well 100 years. It is impossible to predict what the political climate will be that far out. Just think back a year and a half ago, would you have thought we would be at war in Libya or have killed Osama Bin Laden or that Obama would have finally release his birth certificate? None of these things could be known, yet they all have political implications.

What we can say with certainty about 2012 is that if the economy doesn't start making significant improvements, Obama's reelection chances will grow thinner and thinner. Americans are already growing impatient with this economy. Another year and a half of this economy and it hard to imagine a majority of Americans choosing four more years of Obama, even if Palin is the candidate.

I have always held that beating Obama in 2012 will require three things. First, one must hit Obama hard for his failures on the economy, jobs and the deficit, while at the same time offer a clear alternative path forward. Second, one must not offer up a bunch of distraction so that Obama can avoid discussing his failures. Third, one must be a real brawler, ready to take all the hits Obama will throw and be ready to dish it out in equal measure. Any Republican who can consistently do all three things will have more than a good chance of beating Obama.

Palin rains on Romney's parade

Today was suppose to be Mitt Romney's big day. Romney was to command the news cycle by formally declaring his second run for the White House. Instead the top story on Memeorandum today is how Sarah Palin knocked Romney's record on healthcare in his home state of Massachusetts.

MSNBC: In remarks made at Bunker Hill in Massachusetts -- of all places -- Sarah Palin fired a shot at Mitt Romney over the health-care mandate that Romney signed into law in the state in 2006.
The remarks came just before Romney formally announces his presidential bid in nearby New Hampshire, which Palin also plans to visit later today.
"In my opinion, any mandate coming from government is not a good thing, so obviously ... there will be more the explanation coming from former governor, Romney, on his support for government mandates," Palin told reporters today.
When a reporter followed up that Romney has distinguished his state mandate from the federal onePresident Obama signed into law in 2010, Palin responded that even state mandates are problematic.
"He makes a good argument there that it does. States rights and authority and responsibility allowed in our states makes more sense than a big centralized government telling us what to do," she said.
"However, even on a state level and even a local level, mandates coming from a governing body, it's tough for a lot of us independent Americans to accept, because we have great faith in the private sectors and our own families ... and our own businessmen and women making decisions for ourselves. Not any level of government telling us what to do."
Sarah did not stop there. Palin is also driving her bus right into New Hampshire to steal even more of Mitts thunder.

Of course Palin claims that her being in New Hampshire at the same time Mitt is making his announcement is strictly coincidental. Nonsense. Palin is very politically shrewd and is hyper aware of the wattage her megaphone carries. She is deliberately raining on Mitt's parade. As to why she is stepping on Mitt's toes, there are two reasons. First, payback. Romney has taken little jabs at Palin in the past and this is the perfect opportunity to give him hell. The second reason might be that Palin (like many TEA Partiers) thinks Romney is an awful candidate and sinking him now would insure a true conservative prevails in 2012.

It is the second reason establishment conservatives should be worried about. If, as the establishment predicts, Palin doesn't run, they still need to be really concerned that she will pick off all the RINO weaklings from the sidelines for not hold true to conservative principles. Either way you slice it, Palin will play a big role in the 2012 nomination.

Roll Reversals: The media whines about Palin

For almost three years now the mainstream media (MSM) has been on a mission to destroy Sarah Palin. The MSM has not missed a single opportunity to distort Palin's record or to portray her in the most negative light possible.  To add to the assault, whenever Palin comments on the media's over the top behavior they accuse her of "whining".  For anybody else this would be the Catch 22 from hell, but not for Sarah Palin.

Sarah Palin has effectively turn the tables on the media with her One Nation bus tour.  Palin has design the tour to have the look and feel of a campaign tour. Yet, the tour also fits the bill for exactly what Palin says it is; a tour of historical sites that played a role in America's history and foundation.  Palin uses this ambiguity to the hilt and has refused to release any information about where the bus is going next.  The result is that the media is now forced to follow Palin's bus or accept her own written accounts on SarahPAC.

The media has become so frustration they are now the ones doing the whining.  The media has whined that Palin refuses to follow their standard protocol, that she has turned them into paparazzi or she has created a dangerous driving situation and they even whine that she may be breaking Federal flag law (ROTFLMBAO over that one).

I think the MSM's real frustration has little to do with Palin not accommodating them.  Instead, I think the MSM's frustrations stems from the fact that after almost  3 years of character assassination, Palin is still standing.  Worse yet she is still a happy camper.  Palin's resilience reminds the media of their growing impotence in the age of new media and social networks. But the part that really gets their biased little hearts aching is that Palin keeps resurrecting herself.

The media declared Palin dead after the 2008 election and she stayed popular. When she stepped down as governor, the MSM declared her political career dead, but Palin came  back stronger than ever.  Then the MSM blood libeled her over the Arizona shooting and once again said she was politically dead.  Now Palin is back and making more buzz than all the 2012 GOP contenders combined.

Deep down inside you just know that under the MSM's frustrations they have real fear. They fear that Palin will pull off the ultimate resurrection and waltz right into the White House in 2013.

Sarah slept here

Guess who stayed in my neck of the woods last night?  Yep, Sarah Palin's bus tour called it a night in my part of New Jersey. I got a tip from a friend of mine that Sarah Palin and family were staying at hotel a few blocks from my home.  So I walked over there to see if I could catch a glimpse.  The place was as quiet as ever.  Dismayed I started walking back home on a different route and I spied the tour bus in a parking lot only a block away.

I wanted to post this last night, but I wasn't sure if Sarah was still planning to play cat and mouse with the media so, I scheduled the post for this morning.  Give them hell, Sarah!

Video: Sarah Palin at Rolling Thunder

From the New York Times we learn that media was could not get enough of Palin.
Ms. Palin climbed aboard a chopper, assisted by a member of the Rolling Thunder staff, but was unable to move because there were so many members of the press snapping photos. Organizers eventually brought in police, also on motorcycles, to clear a path.
Not bad for someone who was declared politically dead after the media's attempt to blood libel her a few months ago. Even that ingrate John McCain, who has been rather stingy with his praise for Sarah, had to admit today that Palin could beat Obama.

On visuals alone, Palin has already beaten Obama. Compare and contrast:

If I were Obama's handlers, I would start looking into ways to "butch him up" for 2012 ... just in case.

Associated Press has an awesome slide show of images from the Rolling Thunder event. Check them out here.

The ever growing signs of Palin 2012

The race for 2012 is underway with several GOP contenders launching exploratory committees or outright declaring their bids for the White House.  During this time, some possible contenders have bowed out (Mike Huckabee and Mitch Daniels), a new face has name for himself (Herman Cain) and an old face has made a complete fool of himself (Newt Gingrich). There even was a flash in the pan (Donald Trump).  Throughout all the excitement, Sarah Palin has been taking quiet little steps toward running.

First there were subtle steps like hiring a new chief of staff, trips abroad and the beefing up of SarahPAC. But these last two weeks Sarah Palin has been making some rather serious moves showing she is going to make a run in 2012.  First, there has been a change in Palin's tone.  Starting with her admission that she has a fire in her belly for 2012 and then her goal to make sure Obama is not reelected in 2012.

The subtly is gone and now Palin is making some rather bold and obvious moves. First there was the purchase of a home in Arizona  (an essential move given Alaska's logistic and climatic challenges). Then came the announcement that there will be a movie highlighting her career as governor, that will premiere in Iowa no less. Finally today we learn that Palin will embark on a national bus tour

Our nation is at a critical turning point. As we look to the future, we are propelled by America's past. It's imperative that we connect with our founders, our patriots, our challenges and victories to clearly see our way forward. A good way to do this is to appreciate the significance of our nation's historic sites, patriotic events and diverse cultures, which we'll do in the coming weeks on our "One Nation" tour.'
We'll celebrate the good things that bring Americans together; those things that will give us the needed strength to meet the heady challenges ahead. I’ve said many times that America doesn’t need a "fundamental transformation," instead we need a restoration of all that is good and strong and free in America! So, together let’s prepare ourselves for the days ahead by reminding ourselves who we are and what Americans stand for.
We'll celebrate the meaning of our nation's blueprints, our Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, which are the threads that weave our past into the fabric necessary for the survival of American exceptionalism. Our founders declared "we were born the heirs of freedom", and despite our difficulties and disagreements, we remain one nation under God in freedom, indivisible. Through visits to historical sites and patriotic events, we'll share the importance of America's foundation.
We encourage you to support the pro-America events we'll be privileged to participate in during these coming weeks. Discover the ties that bind Americans, our history, our traditions, and the exceptional nature of our country!
Follow the One Nation tour at www.SarahPAC.com
-Sarah Palin
While there are explanations for all her actions other than a run for the White House, the cumulative effect says otherwise. Recent polls by both Gallup and CNN show Palin moving the top of the list just behind Mitt Romney. To me this indicates that Republicans who may have once been dissuaded from Palin are beginning to realize that she is what we are looking for in 2012.  For those in doubt about whether or not Palin can beat Obama in the general election, remember that Palin, saddled with a hapless and hopeless John McCain, was able to pull ahead in the polls against Obama at the height of his Hopey Changey magic. In 2012 Palin will not have McCain's dead weight and Obama's magic is completely gone.  Something to thing about.

Osama Dead: Reactions From Bush, Romney and Palin

National Journal: I congratulated him and the men and women of our military and intelligence communities who devoted their lives to this mission. They have our everlasting gratitude.

This momentous achievement marks a victory for America, for people who seek peace around the world, and for all those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done.

Mitt Romney's Facebook Page: This is a great victory for lovers of freedom and justice everywhere.
Congratulations to our intelligence community, our military and the president. My thoughts are with the families of Osama bin Laden's many thousands of victims, and the brave servicemen and women who have laid down their lives in pursuit of this murderous terrorist.

Sarah Palin's Facebook Page: Americans tonight are united in celebration and gratitude. God bless all the brave men and women in our military and our intelligence services who contributed to carrying out the successful mission to bring Bin Laden to justice and who laid the groundwork over the years to make this victory possible. It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of these brave Americans who relentlessly hunted down our enemy.

This is a victory for the American people, for the victims who were heartlessly murdered on September 11 and in Al Qaeda’s other numerous attacks, and for all the peace-loving people of the world.

May God bless our troops and our intelligence services, and God bless America!

Video: Sarah Palin in Madison, WI

Anyone who may have thought that Sarah Palin was becoming yesterday's news as Donald Trump ascends in the polls, think again. Palin's Madison, Wisconsin TEA Party speech proves once again that not only does she "get it", she is not afraid to go anywhere to deliver it.

Unlike Donald Trump, who broadsides Obama on everything including the birther issue, Palin focuses her attacks where Obama is most weak ... his record. However, in this speech Palin doesn't just call out Obama for his fiscal foolishness, she also calls out weak and compromise-happy Republicans. Palin understands that weak Republican leadership is every bit a s detrimental to America's future as is another term of Obama.
Now, there’s a lesson here for the Beltway politicos, something they need to understand; the lesson comes from here in Madison. So, our lesson is to the GOP establishment first. And yeah, I’ll take on the GOP establishment. What more can they say about us, you know?
So, to the GOP establishment: if you stand on the platform, if you stand by your pledges, we will stand with you. We will fight with you, GOP. We have your back. Together we will win because America will win!
We didn’t elect you just to re-arrange the deck chairs on a sinking Titanic. We didn’t elect you to just stand back and watch Obama re-distribute those deck chairs. What we need is for you to stand up, GOP, and fight. Maybe I should ask some of the Badger women’s hockey team—those champions—maybe I should ask them if we should be suggesting to GOP leaders they need to learn how to fight like a girl!
The closing of Palin's speech sounds very much like an unofficial announcement for her candidacy. A candidacy that will be driven by the voice of We The People.
And Madison, you defended the 2010 electoral mandate. You are heroes, you are patriots, and when the history of this Tea Party Movement is written, what you accomplished here will not be forgotten.
Your historic stand brought down the curtain on the last election. And the 2012 election begins here.
We will take the courage and the integrity that you showed all of America. We will take it and we will win back our country!
God has shed His grace on thee, America. We will not squander what we have.
We will fight for America! And it starts here in Madison, Wisconsin!
It starts here! It starts now! What better place than the state that hosts the Super Bowl champs to call out the liberal left and let them know: Mr. President, game on!
I have always believed and still believe that Sarah Palin is our best (and quite possibly only) hope for 2012. While conservatives are being swayed by early polls and media narratives that Palin cannot win, certain realities makes it quite clear that Palin is the one.

I have told you all that first and foremost the 2012 GOP candidate must be a rock solid fiscal conservative. Palin has proven this time and time again. Second, and maybe most importantly, our candidate must be a real fighter. Our candidate must not just fight Obama, his media minions and the radical far left, our candidate must also carry that fighting spirit into the presidency. Once president, our candidate will face a Congress (both left and right) that is set in their ways and is invested in maintaining the status quo. We need only look at Boehner's sorry spending cut compromise to understand why a true fighter is needed.

Without someone in the White House who will battle for America without concern of reelection, America will be every bit as doomed as if Obama had won a second term. Palin's resignation shows that she is not tied to titles and power, but is instead interested in doing what is right.

I do believe that as the 2012 GOP field rolls outs one lackluster campaign after another, Palin will continue to shine and once again prove to conservatives that she is The One.

Sarah Palin discusses Trump's birtherism

Palin: "Well, I appreciate the The Donald wants to spend his resources in getting to the bottom of something that so interest him and so many Americans. You know, more power to him. He is not just throwing stones from the sidelines, he is digging in there, paying for researchers to find out why President Obama would have spent $2 million to not show his birth certificate".
Palin is a smart cookie. She knows better than to allow herself to be painted as a birther, yet she is utilizing the opening Trump made cast suspicion on Obama's actions. Most of today's Republican candidates simply distance themselves from Trump and would never ever, think about capitalizing on the opening Trump has created.

Should Trump ever make it to the debates, Republicans would be well advised not to cross him. Time and again Trump has shown that he likes to get into nasty public disputes. His battle with Rosy O'Donnell and his recent spat with New York Times columnist Gail Collins are just some examples.

They call it "art": Palin Crucifixion Painting

If Islam is no better or worse than Christianity, then we should expect a murderous rampage from Christians of over this. Methinks not!

Gateway Pundit: Killing two birds with one stone.
The left found a way to display their hate for Jesus and Sarah Palin in one art exhibit.
Here’s one of the paintings from the Jesus Is Coming show at the R & R Gallery in LA

We may not be turning water into wine, but we’ll be trying our damndest, with original works by some of the finest of God’s children. Holy Sh*t.
Talk about perfect timing. Just as I got through saying that there is a big difference between between how Islam and Christianity handles offence to their religion, here comes a test case.

I have long ago grown tired of these so called "artists" who rely on being provocative rather than being talented to sell their BS. If you are truly talented, your sills will speak for itself without having to push anyone's buttons. Junk like this will never stand up to the test of time because its value rest sole upon the importance of the intend target. If Palin is never elected President, who will even remember the significance of this painting? Answer: not a damn sole.
