Photos of Sarah Palin at Gridiron Dinner


The photos were taken by Lynne Sweet at the Chicago Sun Times. Lynne Sweet has a very unbiased recap of the event here.  You will notice Sweet photographed Sarah's otter purse.  I can see why it made a statement.  You have to love the Palin's unpretentiousness and unabashed love of country.

The purse works nicely if you are wearing it to annoy superficial fashion freaks who care more about style than substance.

Todd's cummerbund is the perfect touch to a pleasant 'stick it in your eye' kind of attitude.

For that evenings event, it's an excellent selection of attire.
