The people of Massachusetts deliver one hell of a bitch slap to Washington for America. Massachusetts, the bluest of blue states said:
- No to Martha Coakley’s rubbing stamping the Obama agenda.
- No to Obama’s deception of centrist promises but a hard left agenda.
- No to the arrogance of Nancy Pelosi.
- No to the dirty dealing of Harry Reid.
- And a big far NO to that hideous healthcare bill!
I hope this bitch slap leave one hell of a mark on Washington or at the very least some serious tire tracks from an old truck from Massachusetts!
Thank you, Massachusetts!

One would think so, that is, leaving a mark on Washington, but the truth is far from celebratory. Reality would suggest that the progressives in Washington have been contemplating this loss for at least a few days now, and already have plan 'B' ready to go. The war never ends, even after winning a battle. Expect one of two things to happen quickly, the house accepting the senate's version of Marxism (otherwise known as healthcare), or the nuclear option (otherwise known as reconciliation). Damn the torpedoes will be the call in the coming days/weeks. Our battle for independence and freedom from excessive and fascist government didn't end in 1783, it only began.
How about no to the arrogance of the Kennedy clan? Their sense of entitlement has gone on for far too long.
Just my thoughts.
Well, I plan on driving down to the hill the day he gets sworn in.
I have been reading the liberal blogs tonight. Hillarious.
Great title Cliff!
Hey guys, _I_ FINALLY HAVE HOPE!!!
Mr. Brown Goes To Washington.
To take the People's Seat!
...and pat your good self on the back, ABC, for covering these events so well.

You are correct that the progressive wing will want to drive over the cliff. However, the other part of the Democratic party received the message loud and clear. So, now comes the infighting. It is that infighting that hopefully will buy us time till November.
Reconciliation is dying as we speak. Too many Dems will waver and I don't think they will have 51 by the time it is all over.
Things look worse in the House. Nancy only had one vote to spare the last time, I cannot imagine her keeping all 218 votes together to pass the senate version. If she does, she is a tougher cookie than ever imagined.
Donald Borsch:
Don't forget that not all the Dems are progressive. For those non progressive Dems, I am sure self preservation has kicked into high gear.
Osumashi:
Correct! You could say that the world of Camelot just got a whole lot smaller.
JACG:
Make sure to take tons of pictures, I will link you if you post some.
LCR:
Thanks LCR! Brown's win was not a mere shot, it was well placed anger.
Aunt Amelia:
I too have HOPE because of this CHANGE!
Oldsouth:
Thank you, I will take a bow.
