Kiss of Death: Al Gore praises Mitt Romney on Global Warming

Al Gore: Good for Mitt Romney -- though we've long passed the point where weak lip-service is enough on the Climate Crisis.
While other Republicans are running from the truth, he is sticking to his guns in the face of the anti-science wing of the Republican Party:

“It seemed like a straightforward question on a second-tier issue: Would Mitt Romney disavow the science behind global warming?”

“The putative Republican presidential front-runner, eager to prove his conservative bona fides, could easily have said what he knew many in his party's base wanted to hear.”

“Instead, the former Massachusetts governor stuck to the position he has held for many years -- that he believes the world is getting warmer and that humans are contributing to it.”

Oh boy, talk about the kiss of death. Mitt Romney's conservative bona fides is already suspect by many in the Republican base. How can it not be with so many flip-flops and the creation of ObamaCare's father RomneyCare. Adding to conservatives' suspicion of Mitt Romney is Romney's new support for Global Warming. A support he has stuck to as well. Now the chief charlatan of the Global Warming hoax, Al Gore is giving Mitt Romney a big Kudos!

If conservatives ever need more proof that they should think long and hard about having a President Romney, this is it.

Romney has said: I don’t speak for the scientific community, of course, but I believe the world’s getting warmer. I can’t prove that, but I believe based on what I read that the world is getting warmer. And number two, I believe that humans contribute to that. I don’t know how much our contribution is to that, because I know that there have been periods of greater heat and warmth in the past but I believe we contribute to that.
Romney stuck by the words too. At the next debate, I sure wish one of the other candidates would ask Romney just how he squares his comments with news released today that the earth maybe headed towards another ice age.

Seeing Romney explain himself sure would make for an interesting debate.

Olbermann finds a home on Al Gore's Current TV?

You just knew that the airwaves couldn't stay fresh for long. It looks like two of America's biggest frauds are teaming up.
Media Decoder: Keith Olbermann, the former top-rated host of “Countdown” on the news channel MSNBC, will announce his next television home on Tuesday, and people familiar with his plans pointed Monday to a possible deal with the public affairs channel Current TV.
Neither Mr. Olbermann, his representatives, or executives from Current TV would comment on the move, but they did not deny that the channel, which counts former Vice President Al Gore as one of its founders, will become at least one partner in Mr. Olbermann’s future media plans.
One of the people with knowledge of the plans said Mr. Olbermann would have an equity stake in Current TV. The people insisted on anonymity because they were not authorized by their employers to comment in advance of the official announcement. [MORE]
I give Olbermann some credit for being smart enough to get an equity stake.  This way there is very little chance of him getting the ax anytime soon.
I don't know how much of a success Olbermann will be at getting more people to watch Current TV.  I for one could not even tell you where Current TV is on my cable listing and if they get Keith Olbermann, I will have even less reasons to find it.

An Inconvenient Truth? Al Gore and Laurie David having an affair

Who is telling the truth here?  Star Magazine is saying that the reason why Al and Tipper Gore are no more is because Al had an affair with Larry David’s ex-wife Laurie David.
Star: Al Gore's split from wife Tipper after 40 years of marriage was a shock to everyone who thought theirs was the ideal marriage. Now Star can exclusively reveal that the former Vice President was having an affair with's ex-wife — for the past two years!
In the June 28 issue of Star, on sale Wednesday, we report that Al and Tipper's breakup didn't come as much of a surprise to one Hollywood player — Laurie David. Star has learned that Al has been having an affair with Laurie, who divorced Seinfeld creator and Curb Your Enthusiasm star Larry David in 2007 amidst reports she was cheating with the caretaker of their Martha's Vineyard summer home.
“Al and Laurie went from friends to lovers," an insider tells Star. "It couldn’t be avoided."
Laurie David tells the Huffington Post that the affair isn’t true.
"The story is completely untrue," David told Huffington Post. "It's a total fabrication. I adore both Al and Tipper. I look at them both as family. And I have happily been in a serious relationship since my divorce."
It is just so hard to tell what the story is with these bed hopping Hollywood types. I think we should call the Enquirer, they now have a really good track record at digging into “political affairs”.

Al Gore’s daughter Karenna Gore Schiff to divorce

Talk about the apple not falling far from the tree.  Perhaps they got a divorce lawyer who was having a 2 for 1 special?
CNN: Karenna Gore Schiff, the oldest daughter of former Vice President Al Gore and Tipper Gore, has separated from her husband, Dr. Andrew Schiff, after 13 years of marriage, two sources close to the former vice president tell CNN.
This news comes just a week after the former vice president and Mrs. Gore announced their own separation after 40 years of marriage.
Gore Schiff is 36 years old, a graduate of Harvard University and Columbia Law School. She married Andrew Schiff in 1997. They have three children.
Reached by CNN, Gore Schiff declined to comment on the story.
It is rather strange that both Gore and his daughter would call it quits on their marriages so close together. In both cases, these were long marriages too.  Could it be all that new found wealth from milking gullible Greenies has gone to their heads?

Al and Tipper Gore call it quits

The big buzz in DC yesterday was that Al and Tipper Gore are calling it quits after 40 years of marriage.
Politico: Al and Tipper Gore, whose playful romance enlivened Washington and the campaign trail for a quarter century, have decided to separate after 40 years of marriage, the couple told friends Tuesday.
In an “Email from Al and Tipper Gore,” the couple said: “We are announcing today that after a great deal of thought and discussion, we have decided to separate.
“This is very much a mutual and mutually supportive decision that we have made together following a process of long and careful consideration. We ask for respect for our privacy and that of our family, and we do not intend to comment further.”
Who knows why the pair is ending their long marriage now. According to one of the Gores’ friends, the evil George W. Bush is to blame:
Family friend Sally Quinn told CBS News correspondent Sharyl Attkisson that Gore winning the popular vote for president but losing the electoral vote may have done the marriage irreparable harm.
“He’s obviously suffered a lot,” Quinn said. “He’ll never get over that and neither will she.”
Sorry, but I ain’t buying that one. If I had to venture a guess, I would say Tipper had enough of being married to the laughingstock of Climate Change. For Al Gore I sense midlife crisis. He already has the hot new bachelor pad, all he needs now is the hot new trophy wife.

According to my friend Nikki, she sees a hot new trophy husband! She might be on to something, have you seen Al Gore’s eyebrows lately?

It’s time to wish Al Gore into the cornfield

As the whole theory of Man Made Global warming is starting to look like the sham of the century, Al Gore, its High Priest, has been rather hard to find these days. Today the New York Times has finally found him and allowed the High Priest to ramble on in a very long op-ed called “We Can’t Wish Away Climate Change”.

In the op-ed Gore tries to explain away all the recent evidence that Man Made Global Warming is junk science. Gore scolds us that we cannot wish away global warming and that Some news media organizations *COUGH* Fox *COUGH* are to blame.
It would be an enormous relief if the recent attacks on the science of global warming actually indicated that we do not face an unimaginable calamity requiring large-scale, preventive measures to protect human civilization as we know it.
[SNIP]
Simultaneously, changes in America’s political system — including the replacement of newspapers and magazines by television as the dominant medium of communication — conferred powerful advantages on wealthy advocates of unrestrained markets and weakened advocates of legal and regulatory reforms. Some news media organizations now present showmen masquerading as political thinkers who package hatred and divisiveness as entertainment. And as in times past, that has proved to be a potent drug in the veins of the body politic. Their most consistent theme is to label as “socialist” any proposal to reform exploitive behavior in the marketplace.
The man is completely shameless. Gore uses his classic fear mongering that the planet will swallow us whole and he even adds a new touch of shame:
...We would no longer have to worry that our grandchildren would one day look back on us as a criminal generation that had selfishly and blithely ignored clear warnings that their fate was in our hands.
Instead we should let our grandchildren look back on as the criminal generation that saddled them with needless debt all in the name of junk science.

I think it is about time we take a page from that Twilight Zone episode where the little boy can wish bad people out to the cornfield. Al Gore, you’re a bad man, you’re a very bad man!

Al Gore gets called out at Apple shareholders meeting

I think the jig is up for Al Gore and his shilling the Man Made Global Warming scam.  While present at an Apple Shareholders meeting, one shareholder had this to say:
At the first opportunity for audience participation just several minutes into the proceeding, a longtime and well-known Apple shareholder--some would say gadfly--who introduced himself as Shelton Ehrlich, stood at the microphone and urged against Gore's re-election to the board. Gore "has become a laughingstock. The glaciers have not melted," Ehrlich said, referring to Gore's views on global warming. "If his advice he gives to Apple is as faulty as his views on the environment then he doesn't need to be re-elected."
I would have paid good money to see that and I would have paid even more for two seconds at the microphone. It is about time frauds like Gore got the public outing they deserve. Let’s hope for more Sheldon Ehrlichs to step up to the plate.

Al Gore: Climategate Denier

Gasbag Al Gore has been making the rounds touting his latest book of lies and dismissing Climategate too. One of the lies Al is pushing is that the Climategate emails are all ten years old.  Nope, some are only a few months old, but that doesn't stop old Al.

In the video below, Gore is interview on CNN and the guy actually catches Gore's lie and corrects him. Gore drops that topic like a hot potato and then goes on into full Chicken Little mode. For the life of me I cannot believe people buy into his BS.

Simon Scowl from Deceiver.com has Al Gore pegged to a tee:

Putting aside the fact that these “private” e-mails are work product from a publicly funded institution, and are evidence that the science is far from settled, they’re not all 10 years old. They do span the last 13 years, but the most recent e-mail is from just last month. They’re evidence of an ongoing effort to hide and manipulate the data, and to suppress dissent. It’s been going on for a long time, and they’re still trying to get away with it. Al’s doing it right here.
There’s no possible way he can admit any of that, of course. His financial and psychological investment in this crap is way too deep for him to acknowledge such, ahem, inconvenient truths. The only way to deal with such a massive blow to his ego is to just bull through it. Pretend it’s not happening. He is, to borrow a phrase, a Climategate denier.
Climategate denier? Humm where have I heard that before, oh yeah Sarah Palin hit Gore with that one on her Facebook page in response to Gore's calling her a global warming denier:

The response to my op-ed by global warming alarmists has been interesting. Former Vice President Al Gore has called me a “denier” and informs us that climate change is “a principle in physics. It’s like gravity. It exists.”
Perhaps he’s right. Climate change is like gravity – a naturally occurring phenomenon that existed long before, and will exist long after, any governmental attempts to affect it.
However, he’s wrong in calling me a “denier.” As I noted in my op-ed above and in my original Facebook post on Climategate, I have never denied the existence of climate change. I just don’t think we can primarily blame man’s activities for the earth’s cyclical weather changes.
Former Vice President Gore also claimed today that the scientific community has worked on this issue for 20 years, and therefore it is settled science. Well, the Climategate scandal involves the leading experts in this field, and if Climategate is proof of the larger method used over the past 20 years, then Vice President Gore seriously needs to consider that their findings are flawed, falsified, or inconclusive.
Vice President Gore, the Climategate scandal exists. You might even say that it’s sort of like gravity: you simply can’t deny it.
- Sarah Palin

I wonder how long Al Gore will go on denying Climategate? Better yet, if Climategate finally exposes the man made global warming fraud, will Al Gore simply slink away and leave us in peace? Lets all pray for that.

Politico questions Al Gore and not a single mention of Climategate

This has got to be the all time worst bit of journalism ever. Imagine having the High Priest of Climate Change sitting down in front of you and not once asking him about the possible biggest scandal ever. Politico, hang your head in shame!

Politico’s readers take them to task in the comment section, which is the best part of the whole piece.

Is Al Gore ducking Climategate?

The Washington Times is reporting that Al Gore has abruptly canceled an appearance in Copenhagen.

Former Vice President Al Gore on Thursday abruptly canceled a Dec. 16 personal appearance that was to be staged during the United Nations' Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, which begins next week.
As described in The Washington Times' Inside the Beltway column Tuesday, the multimedia public event to promote Mr. Gore's new book, "Our Choice," included $1,209 VIP tickets that granted the holder a photo opportunity with Mr. Gore and a "light snack."
Berlingkse Media, a Danish group coordinating ticket sales and publicity for the event, said that "great annoyance" was a factor in the cancellation, along with unforeseen changes in Mr. Gore's program for the climate summit. The decision affected 3,000 ticket holders.
"We have had a clear-cut agreement, and it is unusual with great disappointment that we have to announce that Al Gore cancels. We had a huge expectation for the event. . . . We do not yet know the detailed reasons for the cancellation," said Lisbeth Knudsen, CEO of Berlingske Media, in a statement posted by the company.
The ClimateDepot, com, an online news aggregator that tracks global-warming news reports, referred to the situation as "Nopenhagen," and evidence that popular momentum for the Copenhagen conference "is fading."
There are a few floor shows taking place stateside as well.
Pajamas Media founder Roger L. Simon and independent filmmaker Lionel Chetwynd -- both members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and Oscar nominees -- have called on the academy to rescind Mr. Gore's Oscars in light of the Climategate revelations.
"In the history of the academy, not to my knowledge has an Oscar ever been rescinded. I think they should rescind this one," Mr. Simon said Thursday.
News that British and American scientists had manipulated global warming statistics to suit their agenda was made public two weeks ago after their personal e-mails were posted on the Internet.
The film version of Mr. Gore's book "An Inconvenient Truth" won two Oscars in 2007 -- for Best Documentary Feature and Best Original Song.
For the life of me I will never understand how this fraud became the poster boy of Climate Change. Al Gore doesn’t even have a science degree. It is said he was a D student in science and spent the first part of this post grad studies at divinity school.

I guess he has used his divinity training to make big money as a cheap televangelist singing the liberal gospel of climate change! What a fraud!

Note: The graphic is used comes from my blogger buddy Stogie at Saber Point. News Busters has picked up this graphic and is sporting it for the very same story. Way to go Stogie!

The Do As I Say, Not As I Do Report:

If there is one thing I cannot stand about Washington elites, it is the way they hand down rules, regulations and marching orders to We The People and then don't follow them themselves. Like Joe Biden telling us how it is now patriotic for us to pay higher taxes, then having a bunch of tax cheats appointed to the administration.

Well folks, here is yet another elitist following the “Do As I Say, Not As I Do” mantra. It appears Al Gore had all kinds of electronic goodies running inside his palatial Tennessee estate during Earth Hour! That’s right, We The People from the unwashed and ignorant masses were told to turn off our Pcs, televisions and so forth for one hour and sit in the dark like cavemen in order to save the planet. Meanwhile, Al Gore, who gets praised to the high heavens for his science fiction movie An Inconvenient Truth gets to party like it’s 1999! Hypocrisy thy name is Gore!

This isn’t the first time Al Gore has been caught out there with a size 15 carbon footprint. He has been caught using too much electricity at his mansion, taking private jets and riding in SUVs. He defends his elitist hypocrisy by saying he buys carbon offsets to make up for his indiscretions. Tell you what Al, instead of spending money on those carbon offsets, why don’t you pay my rising taxes instead? You can pay them in person at the US Treasury, that way you and the other hypocrite Geither can discuss the meaning of the word gall!
