More Indoctrination: Organizing for America recruits high school students for internships

click for larger image

Pam Geller from Atlas Shrugs has an exclusive up today.  One of her readers sent her a copy of recruiting material given to high schools students from Organizing for America for internships.  Organizing for America is the new name for Obama’s campaign website from 2008 (mybarackobama.com).  The recruiting material’s reading list is pure Alinsky agitation. Here is an example of the reading list:

Rules for Radicals, Saul Alinsky
The New Organizers, Zack Exley
Stir It Up: Lessons from Community Organizing and Advocacy, Rinku Sen
Obama Field Organizers Plot a Miracle, Zack Exley, Huffington Post
Dreams of My Father Chicago Chapters, Barack Hussein Obama
The left constantly tells us that there is no plan to indoctrinate our children in leftist ideology. Yet, junk like this is constantly turning up.  Children forced to waste their time learning vapid songs to the empty suit. Wasting an entire day contemplating Obama after his silly speech to kids or learning about inappropriate sexual activity. Now they are actively recruiting high school kids to learn community organizing i.e. agitation.

The think I cannot stand about all of this, is that it robs children from desperately needed classroom time for real learning. Instead of our children using all their classroom time to acquire a strong grasp of the basics, they must waste their time on all this social engineering bullshit.  For black children in failing inner city schools, wasting their classroom time like this, is truly a sin in the eye of God.

If your children are in a public school, demand to see their schoolwork. Know exactly what they are working on daily. Teach them what indoctrination is and teach them to report it and not to go along with it. Apathy and ignorance are the socialists’ best tools and the best way to defeat them is to stay informed.

So called "Safe Schools Czar", Kevin Jennings pushes child porn in the classroom

We all know that Obama’s “Safe Schools” Czar (there is nothing safe about this guy) is clearly all about pushing the homosexual agenda in the classroom. So we should not be too surprised to find out that the organization he started called GLSEN has a recommended reading list chock full of gay themes.

Well it gets a whole lot worse. Gateway Pundit and Scott Baker team up to go over that reading list and the stuff they find in these books would make NAMBLA blush. Graphic descriptions of children having both gay and straight sex in book after book.

Here is an example: WARNING GRAPHIC ADULT CONTENT
Revolutionary Voices – Page 220
(A writer is unhappy that she was forced to stop masturbating in public when she turned nine years old.)
I learned the truth about Santa Claus and masturbation in the same year. I was 9. I had a hunch about Santa, but I had no clue about masturbation. I mean, I had no clue there was anything wrong with it. As far as I know, I’ve been masturbating my whole life. But it wasn’t until 9 that I realized it was an impulse that you had to turn off. Especially in class. Fourth grade craft time taught me shame.
This is the mildest stuff I could find, in some of the other book excerpts there is graphic detail of sex between kids and adults, preteens and preteens, reckless homosexual encounters, kids having sex in school and on and on.  Empty your stomachs and click over to Gateway Pundit for the full story.

Stuff like this really pisses me off. First I cannot stand how parental authority is so easily disregarded and usurped. Why cannot parents decide when they wish to expose their children to adult content and to what degree? Furthermore, there is hardly a day that goes by when we do not hear about American children under performing in their education. All this social engineering stuff does is rob the children from valuable classroom time that should be spent locking down the basics.
When I think about all those stories of pervert teachers, I shudder at the thought of any of them going over content like this with children. This crap has got to stop.
This Kevin Jennings fellow must go like yesterday, there is absolutely nothing safe about him.

Indoctrination Worse Than Imagined: 11 New Videos of School Kids Praising Obama

That is right folks I said ELEVEN new videos.  This is the one that really caught my attention.

From Big Hollywood:
POWELL ELEMENTARY – May 6, 2009
This is the likely website for the school. Though the age of the students in the video isn’t given, the website says the school’s age range is pre-kindergarten through the third grade.
Video Title: “Powell Elementary Present Kings of Rock”
Video Note: Ode to Obama, school kids in New Jersey celebrate Obamas win

Check out the lyrics [emphasis added mine]

Barack Obama there is none higher

Other politicians should call me sire
To burn my kingdom you must use fire

I create change till I retire!

Democratic Party come correct
Our cuts are on time our rhymes connect
Got the right to vote and will elect
Others can’t feel us but give us respect

Now I walked through crowds, shook many hands
Spent my time saying YES WE CAN!
I stood on many stages, held many mics
Took airplane flights at great heights
PA and Jersey, I won that fight

Chicago Illinois was so hype
Moving so strong
Biden joined the fight
Now we are a team and we ignite!
Now I crash through walls,
Cut through floors,
Burst through ceilings
Knock down doors.

He is George
And I’m Turan
We’re never far behind
In class we shine
For every living person
With dreams and plans

Keep hope alive –
Think “Yes We Can”

We’re the baddest of the bad
The cool of the cool
I’m Barack
I rock and rule.

I’m Joe. I rock and rule.
It’s not a trick or treat or April fools,
It’s all brand new
With a little old school.
We’ve got the music and the message

For all my friends.
Check us out on the internet,
Load and send.

Music ain’t nothing
but a peoples jam.
It’s President Obama
Rockin’ with the band!

You have got to be f*cking kidding me! This are very small children who should be spending their class time achieving a strong grasp of the basics, not wasting their valuable class time praising an empty suit.
The dates of the 11 videos clearly show the indoctrination process has been well underway for months. Obama's speech to school children was just the tip of the iceberg.

Indoctrination: Get them while they’re young

On September 8. Obama is going to make a special address to all public school students.

In a recent interview with student reporter http://www.youtube.com/wa... , Damon Weaver, President Obama announced that on September 8 - the first day of school for many children across America - he will deliver a national address directly to students on the importance of education. The President will challenge students to work hard, set educational goals, and take responsibility for their learning. He will also call for a shared responsibility and commitment on the part of students, parents and educators to ensure that every child in every school receives the best education possible so they can compete in the global economy for good jobs and live rewarding and productive lives as American citizens.
Since taking office, the President has repeatedly focused on education, even as the country faces two wars, the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression and major challenges on issues like energy and health care. The President believes that education is a critical part of building a new foundation for the American economy. Educated people are more active civically and better informed on issues affecting their lives, their families and their futures.
This is the first time an American president has spoken directly to the nation's school children about persisting and succeeding in school. We encourage you to use this historic moment to help your students get focused and begin the school year strong. I encourage you, your teachers, and students to join me in watching the President deliver this address on Tuesday, September 8, 2009. It will be broadcast live on the White House website http://www.whitehouse.gov... at 1:00 p.m. eastern standard time.
In advance of this address, we would like to share the following
resources: a menu of classroom activities for students in grades preK-6
http://www.ed.gov/teacher... and for students in grades 7-12http://www.ed.gov/teacher... . These are ideas developed by and for teachers to help engage students and stimulate discussion on the importance of education in their lives. We are also staging a student video contest on education. Details of the video contest will be available on our website http://www.ed.gov/ in the coming weeks.
On behalf of all Americans, I want to thank our educators who do
society's most important work by preparing our children for work and for life. No other task is more critical to our economic future and our social progress. I look forward to working with you in the months and years ahead to continue improving the quality of public education we provide all of our children.
Sincerely,
To say I am not that comfortable with this is an understatement. If I had children in public school, they would have a hooky day on September 8. If Obama wanted to address all the children across America why didn’t he just have yet another television address, where the children could watch at home with their parents? Instead, this is being done in public schools away from any parental supervision and under the influence and control of over zealous left leaning public school teachers.
Michelle Malkin provides an excellent example of the kind of over zealous left leaning public school teachers I am talking about. Here is the example Michelle Malkin provided:
The video that immediately jumped to my mind when I heard that Obama would address the public schools was this one:
Remember this little piece of propaganda? This video kind of has a whole new feel to it today, doesn’t it? I think, September 8 would be an excellent day to take your children on a field trip to a museum or library to learn about the Constitution.
