Lefty thugs threaten blogger Ann Althouse

Blogger Ann Althouse has been first hand blogging about the protest in Wisconsin. She has even served up some viral video on the events and tons of pictures. Apparently some of the pro union supporters preferred she didn't and have taken to making some ugly threats. The threats have been leveled to both Althouse and her husband Meade.

We will take it from the internet right to [Althouse's address removed]. Do you have any idea where you live? Let us spell it out for you.We understand that you like to eat on the square. You like the Baked Potato at the Old Fashioned, do you? There were five of us in there last Tuesday. You like to eat at Fresco? We’re in the Overture eating, serving, cooking, playing, and performing. At least twenty of us have worked for Food Fight. You like to fucking drink at FAIR TRADE do you? At FAIR TRADE? You are citizen-BANNED from Fair Trade. We will Walker you straight out of the place whenever you show up. We are at every coffee shop on State,open to close, all the time. We will hang up wanted posters of you everywhere you like to go. We will picket on public property as close to your house as we can every day.We will harrass(sic) the ever loving shit out of you all the time. Campus is OCCUPIED. State street is OCCUPIED. The Square is OCCUPIED. Vilas, Schenk’s Corners, Atwood, Willy Street – Occupied, Occupied, Occupied, Occupied. Did you really think it was all about the Capitol? Fuck the Capitol, we are the CITY.

I don't call this four page screed a threat, I call this is terrorism. By publishing her address and detailing her activities, this nut case isn't trying to warn Althouse, he is trying to terrorizer her.

As I have said a few times in the comments section, when the left ask for civility, just give them the finger and go on about your business.

In The Land of Make Believe or How to Get Big Hits to Your Blog

You all know that Clifton B loves watching the traffic at Another Black Conservative soar.  I watch my Sitemeter like a hawk.


Since I was forced to take some time off from my blogging, my site stats have been less than stellar and forget about getting on Memeorandum.  In the words of Sam from The Last Tradition: Memeorandum is treating me like an ugly stepchild. 


However, there is a way to get my totals sky high again. Simply make up a story that liberals will love.  One blogger did exactly that and is now rocking the top thread on Memeorandum.


This blogger concocted a story that Scott Walker was asked to leave a restaurant in Madison, WI.  The lefties ate it up like it was Manna from Heaven!  Unfortunately, a blogger decided to dig a little deeper and the story is looking like a complete hoax.  


Even though the story is false, this lefty blogger is still pulling in the traffic on Memeorandum.  Like Troglopundit, I want my own thread on Memeorandum too. So here goes my false story of the day: Sarah Palin and Scott Walker have a secret love child, and here is the picture to prove it.

Now give me the hits damn it!

Hippie Punching: The Professional Left Gets Testy

Ok boys and girls, we are going to learn a new phrase today.  It is called “Hippie Punching”!  In a testy exchange between David Axelrod and a  liberal bloggers this new phrase was born. Basically, the White House is using liberal bloggers to tame the unhappy base. This time though, the White House may have gone to the well one time too many.

The Plum Line:Top Obama adviser David Axelrod got an earful of the liberal blogosphere's anger at the White House moments ago, when a blogger on a conference call directly called out Axelrod over White House criticism of the left, accusing the administration of "hippie punching."

That tension burst out into the open when Madrak directly asked Axelrod: "Have you ever heard of hippie punching?" That prompted a long silence from Axelrod.[...]

"You want us to help you, the first thing I would suggest is enough of the hippie punching," Madrak added. "We're the girl you'll take under the bleachers but you won't be seen with in the light of day." 

So what exactly is “hippie punching”? Moe Lane at Red State seems to have the best definition I have seen so far.

[…]I assume it means “to smack around progressive activists, safe and secure in the knowledge that they lack the internal dignity, elementary sense of self-worth, and bare minimum of personal courage necessary to do anything about it.” […]

Oh, how right you are Moe Lane.  Instead of working directly with the White House to create synergy, the liberal bloggers would have best served their causes it they held the administration’s feet to the fire. Given their willingness to do the administration’s bidding, why shouldn’t the administration treat them like cheap whores?

This spat between the bloggers and the White House is just a taste of the fun to come after the November beat down. Come mid November, there will be Hippie Punching going on all over the place.  Popcorn at the ready, folks!

Jesse Griffin: Now with more creepiness and more questions

Dan Riehl continues to examine the blogger formerly known as Gryphen. Dan has found that Gryphen, former assistant kindergarten teacher and quitter, has a preoccupation with a very troubling subject.

More and more it is looking like Alaskan parents may have dodged a bullet with this guy. The odd thing is Jesse may have been telling people what he is all along (see Dan Riehl’s Thoughtprint analysis of Jesse).

In one of R. S. McCain’s last posts about Griffin, McCain brought up an interesting question:

“… But I still have questions because – thanks to Dan’s ace research skills --- I know what the Anchorage school district was paying Griffin, and it sure isn’t enough to make the payments on a $330,000 house.”

Yeah, I would love to have an answer to that question too, especially since affording things above one's Line 23 is a common phenomenon among some of Sarah’s foes, like Levi Johnston. Humm, enquiring minds want to know.

Jesse Griffin: An Image Emerges

Following up on the failed Palin divorce rumor, bloggers R.S. McCain and Dan Riehl are researching and reporting on the anti Palin Alaskan blogger Jesse Griffin (Gryphen). Yesterday we learned that Jesse Griffin has resigned from his assistant kindergarten teacher’s position, no doubt much to the relief of many Alaskan parents.

The image emerging of Griffin is a rather disturbing one. Griffin appears to be a fellow who knows no limits when it comes to lying or sex. For Griffin there appears to be no bright yellow lines of good taste or morality. Just trying to follow all the conflicting stories he told surrounding his resignation from his teaching position, one can get a good sense of this guy’s ability to lie. See here and here.

To understand Griffin’s strange sexual views one need only read though his blog the Immoral Minority. Stunning quotes abound:

“All of the fun of sex is drained by making all of these rules and labels. If sex is not naughty then it is almost not worth doing. I love kids, but in my opinion they are just a side effect of a healthy sex life”.

After reading the quotes and following the lies, it is easy to see why Griffin chose to make up a rumor about the Palins divorcing. It is because of the intimacy. A marriage is the intimate sharing of two lives, so for a person like Griffin, attacking Palin on such an intimate subject would seem to fit. I am convinced that had the rumor been allowed to continue, Griffin would have no doubt made up all kinds of sexual reasons for the split. I am also willing to bet he had a hand in the old bogus rumor about both the Palins having affairs. That too seems fits his interests.

I find it very odd that his supporters seem unbothered by his comments. If you go to the Immoral Minority and read through the comments, no one seems alarmed or creped out by any of his statements. So myopic are they with their Palin hatred, that they readily accept all these disturbing things. It says a lot about the state of politics on the far left.

I find it surprising that McCain and Riehl’s reporting was able to uncover so much in just a few days. The pro-Palin blogs have been covering the Alaskan bloggers from the start and yet none of them have uncovered so much. Furthermore, McCain and Riehl’s reporting clearly proves the media’s bias. How is it that just two bloggers who are not even in Alaska right now can get the goods on Griffin, yet when the entire national media descended on Alaska last year, all they came away with were the lies the Alaskan bloggers told them? Not a single reporter even bothered to check to see exactly who it was telling these stories. Perhaps if they did we would not be living in a nation where the President of the United States asks Americans to rat each other out.

For Jesse Griffin (Gryphen) and the Alaskan bloggers, the game has changed.

Following the double Epic Fail of the Palin divorce rumor, Jesse Griffin (a. k. a Gryphen) now finds himself the object of ridicule much like the way he ridiculed Sarah Palin and her family. As RS McCain and Dan Riehl set about employing their considerable reporting and research talents on Gryphen’s secrets, he may come to realize that the game was changed the day Palin gave her resignation speech.

Gryphen and the Alaskan bloggers should have realized they were on a new playing field when their absurd FBI investigation rumor was rapidly squashed and Palin came back at them with the threat of a lawsuit. Had they not realized that a liberated Palin would have the free time to knock down their baseless smears as quickly as they put them up? Evidently they did not, because the same thing happened with their divorce rumor only this time much quicker.

There is another important aspect to the new game that Gryphen and the Alaskan bloggers seem to miss. It is that Governor Sarah Palin is now citizen Sarah Palin. As such, going after her and her family with baseless accusations, lies, smears and so forth has a very different tone to those of us who do not suffer from acute Palin Derangement Syndrome. For us normal and fair-minded individuals, Gryphen and the Alaskan bloggers actions can no longer be dismissed as over the top political games. For us, their actions have the very distinct and ugly tones of stalking, bulling and harassment.

If there is one thing I have learned about America in my 44 years, it is that Americans have a keen sense for justice and fair play. When Americans encounter unfairness and injustice, they react and sooner or later the Alaskan blogger will find that they have push more people into the Palin camp then they ever could have hoped to turn against Palin.

Failed Palin Divorce Rumor leads to Epic Fail #2: Gryphen outed.

It was a bad weekend for the Alaskan bloggers. They tried to float a rumor that Sarah Palin was getting a divorce from Todd. Their efforts evaporated in moments because of a quick Facebook message from Palin's spokesperson Meg Stapleton and an official quote from Sarah Palin herself. In the aftermath faux reporter Dennis Zaki inadvertently forgot to redact key information about Immoral Minority blogger Gryphen from a letter issued by Palin's attorney Thomas Van Flein. That key piece of information was enough of a hint that an anonymous tipster sent The Other McCain and Riehl World View information identifying Gryphen as Jesse Griffin.

Unlike Zaki, McCain and Riehl double checked their sources and indeed proved Gryphen was Jesse Griffin part time Alaskan kindergarten teacher. To make matters worse, Griffin actually confirmed the key piece of information in his own blog posting.

So from Epic Fail #1 grew Epic Fail #2. Not only did the bogus divorce story crumble, it lead to the outing of Immoral Minority blogger Gryphen. Now everyone can sit and wonder why an assistant kindergarten teacher spends his free time saying things like this:

"She kind of reminds me of that girl who did not get invited to the prom so she dresses up in a low cut dress and high heels and tries to get all the boys to pay attention to her instead of their dates. "Wherever Trig came from he has proved to be a very valuable asset to Sarah Palin indeed. But just where did Trig Palin come from? As of today, as of this minute, and after over a month of searching I cannot tell you. I simply do not know for certain. I do know however where he did not come from. He did not issue forth from Sarah Palin. He may have been concieved inside her house (The jury is still out on that one), but he was not conceived in her uterus. On that one fact I have absolutely no doubt." - Gryphen 06/06/2009

Amazing what one can say while hiding behind a nom de plume?

Sorry hatemongers, Sarah and Todd are NOT getting a divorce!

It wasn't even a week ago that Sarah Palin had this to say said to some in the media;

'And first, some straight talk for some, just some in the media because another right protected for all of us is freedom of the press, and you all have such important jobs reporting facts and informing the electorate, and exerting power to influence. You represent what could and should be a respected honest profession that could and should be the cornerstone of our democracy.

Democracy depends on you, and that is why, that's why our troops are willing to die for you. So, how 'bout in honor of the American soldier, ya quite makin' things up..."

Well today some in the media went ahead and made stuff up. CNN stringer Dennis Zaki fabricated a complete story about Sarah and Todd Palin getting a divorce! However the joke was on Zaki. Before the story could take on life on the web, Sarah Palin's spokesperson had this up on Sarah's Facebook page:

Yet again, some so-called journalists have decided to make up a story. There is no truth to the recent “story” (and story is the correct term for this type of fiction) that the Palins are divorcing. The Palins remain married, committed to each other and their family, and have not purchased land in Montana (last week it was reported to be Long Island).

Less than one week ago, Governor Palin asked the media to “quit making things up.” We appreciate that the more professional journalists decided to question this story before repeating it.

Stapleton's message was later confirmed with this official quote from Sarah Palin by blogger extraordinaire Robert Stacy McCain:

"Divorce Todd? Have you seen Todd? I may be just a renegade hockey mom, but I'm not blind!"

This whole make up lies and feed them to the MSM gag, is an old tactic employed by the Alaskan bloggers. These smear merchants are the same ones who filed all those bogus ethics complaints against Palin while she was governor. Make sure to see the Ethicsgate video, to see how they all work together with the DNC and members of the Obama administration.

Finally, a word of caution to conservatives. Whether you like or dislike Sarah Palin, the tactics used against her must be stopped. I have said time and time again that if the left is successful in stopping Palin, the same tactics will become standard operating procedure against ALL conservatives. To prove my point, Conservatives4Palin are reporting today that Minnesota bloggers are now filing bogus ethics complaints against Rep. Michele Bachmann!

Pam Geller at Atlas Shrugs has already heeded the warning and has decided to fight the lies with stone cold truth. Geller has fired a major salvo and has posted naked pictures of Obama's mama! Yeah, she went there!

Obama calls on left wing bloggers to help save Obamacare

David Axelrod and Obama had a conference call with lefty bloggers to help get support and knock down “myths” about Obamacare. What is really funny is that one of the lefty bloggers (Crooks and Liars) actually recorded the conversation and uploaded it to his blog!

President Obama and David Axlerod hosted a conference call with liberal bloggers today on the whole health care issue. The audio contains the entire call with the President. You know we’re heading for the home stretch in this debate and I thought it was a good idea that the President reached out to the blogs and acknowledged the work that we’ve done so far. Here’s a quick recap of the points he made.

Is this just me or does this whole thing stink of desperation? Perhaps Obama had this little fireside chat because more ugly things are coming out about Obamacare like this:
