Failed Palin Divorce Rumor leads to Epic Fail #2: Gryphen outed.

It was a bad weekend for the Alaskan bloggers. They tried to float a rumor that Sarah Palin was getting a divorce from Todd. Their efforts evaporated in moments because of a quick Facebook message from Palin's spokesperson Meg Stapleton and an official quote from Sarah Palin herself. In the aftermath faux reporter Dennis Zaki inadvertently forgot to redact key information about Immoral Minority blogger Gryphen from a letter issued by Palin's attorney Thomas Van Flein. That key piece of information was enough of a hint that an anonymous tipster sent The Other McCain and Riehl World View information identifying Gryphen as Jesse Griffin.

Unlike Zaki, McCain and Riehl double checked their sources and indeed proved Gryphen was Jesse Griffin part time Alaskan kindergarten teacher. To make matters worse, Griffin actually confirmed the key piece of information in his own blog posting.

So from Epic Fail #1 grew Epic Fail #2. Not only did the bogus divorce story crumble, it lead to the outing of Immoral Minority blogger Gryphen. Now everyone can sit and wonder why an assistant kindergarten teacher spends his free time saying things like this:

"So our trailer trash Barbie of a Governor is also a spoiled brat who blames her failings on the people around her? Nothing that I learned about this nasty bitch surprises me anymore." - Gryphen 11/06/2008

"She kind of reminds me of that girl who did not get invited to the prom so she dresses up in a low cut dress and high heels and tries to get all the boys to pay attention to her instead of their dates. And later you find her in a parked car giving a hand job to the captain of the football team. Pure class." - Gryphen 11/09/2009

"Wherever Trig came from he has proved to be a very valuable asset to Sarah Palin indeed. But just where did Trig Palin come from? As of today, as of this minute, and after over a month of searching I cannot tell you. I simply do not know for certain. I do know however where he did not come from. He did not issue forth from Sarah Palin. He may have been concieved inside her house (The jury is still out on that one), but he was not conceived in her uterus. On that one fact I have absolutely no doubt." - Gryphen 06/06/2009

Amazing what one can say while hiding behind a nom de plume?

The liberal wankers just can't stop can they? They've driven her from office, drag her name - and her children's names through the mud, and they still are not happy with the amount of blood they've taken.

At this point it just ticking me off what they are doing to this woman. Worst yet, if a conservative would have done the same we be called monsters, but not the liberals, they get a pass.

Yep, ticked off is what I am.

How kind of you to have A Conservative Lesbian in your blogroll! I just found you through Saber Point and will add you to mine.

I have a request, though -- I have increased the size of the type for your blog several times to make it easier to read against the black background, but I'm still really struggling, especially with the darker fonts. I hope you will consider experimenting with dark or black fonts on a light background to see if you can find a look you like that also makes the site legible. Thank you for considering this request.

Welcome to my humble blog. You have no idea what a huge treat it is to have you stop by, I am a HUGE fan of your blog.

Actually, you are not the first one to make that request. I am toying with redesigns, especially when it comes to my logo [we just cannot have Colin Powell stinking it up]. Look for new changes shortly. Once again thanks for dropping by.

This Gryphen guy actually believes Palin won't take him to court because he is certain she could not prove damages.

He's totally clueless that cyberspace john does are now being sued, dragged into court, and smacked around independent of damages.

New York Times Co. v. Sullivan made it open season for the press with respect to public figures.

Now celebrities and others are hitting back even if they don't collect a dime and the number of suits against "John Does" hiding behind monitors is escalating exponentially.

My guess is this guy is so ticked off about Palin he'll just dig a deeper hole for himself and in the end
have nothing but a band of misguided cheerleaders
telling him he fought the good fight.

I totally think Palin should sue the living crap out of that guy. If she is successful, and I believe she could be, it would have a chilling effect on all the other idiots.

You are very correct to point out that Gryphen will do himself in and his followers will cheer him on all the way to doomsville.

BTW, have you been following the whole story at Reihl World and The Other McCain? Gryphen is turning out to be one creepy dude.
