Video: Sarah Palin’s Mama Grizzlies

Yet another sign that Sarah Palin is going to make a run for the White House. She would be a fool not to try. Politico sums up why rather nicely:
It was nothing more than a two-minute self-promotional spot, a campaign-style production that any candidate with a little cash and a capable consultant could splice together, yet Sarah Palin’s newly released video managed to drive cable news television chatter and blazed across the blogosphere Thursday.
It was a remarkable display of force—and one that almost no one else in American political life can replicate.
The audio from the video is mostly taken from her recent speech to Susan B. Anthony List. When the speech was given, the guys over at Hill Buzz immediately identified “Mama Grizzies” as campaign branding and now we see how right they were.

Palin has identified the newest voter block hitting America, moms who have turned activists. I cannot tell you how many mothers I have met who are now full tilt political activist. They have started Tea Parties, blogs and action committees. These women see Washington’s wayward ways as a threat to their children’s future and are thus more motivated than most political activists. Should Palin be able to lock up this bunch, she will have powerful and resourceful bunch of supporters.

As Palin makes her way towards the GOP nomination, look for her to use more and more unconventional ways of getter there. The GOP establishment has made it quite clear that they are on board with one of Palin’s boring male rivals (think Pawlenty, Romney or Barbor).

I agree that this is a very good ad. I agree that Mama Grizzlies is great branding. I also agree that she is going to make a run for it.

But I hope that you are wrong that she gets the nomination. She is too damaged to win a general election. Far too many people think she is stupid and unqualified. We have unqualified now, why would people go from one unqualified to another?

Don't get me wrong, I do think she could do the job, but I don't think enough of the country agrees. I fear if she gets the nomination, we get four more years of Obama. Americans are much more comfortable with the known than the unknown.

We do have some good people out there that could excite the masses, Herman Cain and Mike Pence just to name two.

The only thing we should take into account is whether or not Sarah Palin can be the strong and honest President America desperately needs.

Eliminating her because morons believe all the lies and smears our corrupt media have been and will be throwing at her is not a valid reason - it is surrendering to these morons. You can't stop them from being morons, they are born that way.

What matters is the candidate's character, past achievements and determination showing that he/she will be able and willing to deliver (at least) part of the reforms we the people yearn for.

she's been fighting tirelessly to help take the country back from BO & dems. If she gets the nomination, instead of right away giving up on her why won't you try and help her win the election by calling out the lies and actually help educate people what her policies are and what she really stands for. and As you said "Americans are much more comfortable with the known than the unknown" i think most americans have no idea who Mr.Cain is, i know there are a lot of good people out there but they need to come out now & introduce themselves to the people. and lastly, if we base ones qualification on how long they served in office vs their actual achievements & character then all we can get are traditional politician who lost touch to the people. BO is unqualified because of his inexperience & lack of achievement in senate.

Do you really believe that you can talk people out of their beliefs of Sarah Palin? I read the comments on the article that CNN did on Levi admitting that he lied. There was one after another saying they must have paid him off.

I live in a very liberal area, the people that I talk to around here would never vote for her. They would stay home before voting for her. There are also many republicans that don't like her either. She has an appeal to a certain group of people, but does that appeal carry over to win enough electoral points to win the presidency?

On paper, Bush should have lost in 04. His popularity had already started to wane, the media was against him, the war was very unpopular, and he didn't deliver on many of his campaign promises. He didn't because the wrong candidate ran against him. I am fearful of the same thing in 12. Clinton should have lost re-election, but people didn't like Dole. Like it or not, presidental politics has a lot to do with personality.

Also, did people know who Obama was in 06? Only people who really pay attention to politics had any idea who he was two years out. The only reason I knew about him was the speech he gave at Kerry's convention. We need to get people out to the polls in November first. Then we can start worry about who is going to announce for president.

Mrs. Palin will be more effective as a Leader who does not seek election. I am tired of reading about her brand being ruined... go away with that negative thought.

I live with a family of LibTards who all voted for Barry. DO NOT under estimae their hate for Mrs. Palin. (my 3 daughers and a husband... go figure?) I'm the only Republican in the whole bunch.

Sarah will be our leader, but let's not put her to a quick death in running at this time as President of the US. She's got years to go before she's ready to drop kick the LibTards (including my family) out the front door. And she can do it! But not yet.

I think she's amazing, but more so as a maverick for the time being, not as POTUS. Barry has denigerated that positon to the point of ZERO.

Unfortunately none of the democrat or republican political elite will give her credit for anything she does. After all, she didn't attend any ivy league college.

I can only hope the average American that can relate to her will stick by her and stick it to them. I believe we've had enough of the elites running the country. We are overdue for some commonsense.
