Help Dede Scozzafava find a title for her memoir

Über Rino Dede Scozzafava is going to write a memoir about her adventures during the NY-23 race.
The Hill: New York state Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava (R) is writing a memoir about last year's dramatic special election in the state's 23rd congressional district.
Although she was the Republican Party's nominee, Scozzafava was never embraced by conservatives. She eventually dropped out of the race and endorsed the Democrat, now-Rep. Bill Owens.
Many activists were behind Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman and blamed Scozzafava for his defeat.
Scozzafava told WRVO public radio she's begun assembling notes.
"I have been kind of putting pieces together, yes, just, I think, more so for me, just to kind of go back and recall different moments, and I had jotted down certain occasions and I've got a whole calendar of events, and I'm kind of thinking about it again," said Scozzafava.
She doesn't yet have a title for the book.
Oh so Dede needs a title for her memoir, well here at Another Black Conservative we love to help out. Here are a few off the top of my head:

Martha Coakley: Another example of a Scozzafava-like meltdown

How is this for a bit of irony?  The very same Weekly Standard reporter, who Dede Scozzafava called the police on for asking questions, gets shoved to the ground by one of Martha Coakley’s goons for asking questions.

John McCormack from the Weekly Standard was once again doing what good reporters are suppose to do, ask real questions. This time he was trying to get Coakley to respond to her terrible answer on Afghanistan. McCormack has identified the guy who pushed him as Michael Meehan from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Ed Morrissey from Hot Air has more info on this guy.

This tactic employed by Meehan, reeks of the same desperation the Scozzafava campaign had when it was spinning out of control because of the Hoffman surge. Scott Brown’s surge seems to be having the same effect as the Democrats rush in all kinds of outside help to the Coakley campaign. You can almost smell the panic.

Is Martha Coakley having a Scozzafava like meltdown?

Remember back to the NY-23 race when Doug Hoffman started to serious gain on über RINO Dede Scozzafava? Towards the end of her ill-fated campaign, Dede made two big mistakes that seem to spell her campaign was out of control. First there was Dede calling the cops on the Weekly Standard reporter and then there was that disaster of a press conference Dede held, with the gazillion Hoffman supporters in the background.

Today on Memeorandum, there are two stories about the Democrat candidate Martha Coakley who is running for the US Senate seat in Massachusetts.  They are stories about two of her recent blunders that seem to have the same feel as Scozzafava before her meltdown.

First, there is Martha making an ass of herself by saying there is no way to win in Afghanistan and that there are no terrorists left there.

Mind you during this debate, Martha said that gem and Scott Brown said he was running for “the people’s seat”.  Talk about out matched.

To address this oneupmanship , Martha immediately launched an attack ad against Scott Brown. However the substance of the ad is overshadowed by the fact that the ad contains a misspelling of the very state she wants to represent!

These two stories have the same bumbling feel that Scozzafava had when she was caught off guard by Hoffman’s late surge. The blog The Plum Line is reporting that the Coakley camp has sent out an “urgent” private memo to top Dem donors, claiming that their internal polling shows a "very tight" race.
Again more shades of the Scozzafava meltdown.

Could Republicans get lucky and have Coakley and the Dems complete meltdown just before the race?  Possible, we all know the Lord works in mysterious ways.

UPDATED: Scozzafava Quietly [Now Officially] Tells Supporters To Support Democrat Bill Owens

In her statement Saturday morning, the assemblywoman explained the reasons behind her decision: "It is increasingly clear that pressure is mounting on many of my supporters to shift their support. Consequently, I hereby release those individuals who have endorsed and supported my campaign to transfer their support as they see fit to do so."
During the day Saturday, she began to quietly and thoughtfully encourage her supporters to vote for Democrat William L. Owens.
This is the candidate that the GOP leadership was anxious to shove down everyone’s throats?  It just goes to show, if it looks like a liberal, walks like a liberal and quacks like a liberal, then….

By the way Gateway Pundit is reporting that Scozzafava’s husband is also endorsing Democrat Bill Owens.

Note: The Watertown Daily Times originally endorsed Scozzafava too, it is now endorsing Owens.

UPDATE - Scozzafava Officially Throws Support To Bill Owens (NY-D)

Scozzafava is completely out of the closet now. She has officially thrown her support to Democrat Bill Owens. Here is Dede's official statement via the Watertown Daily Times:
I want to thank you for your support and friendship. Over the past 24 hours, I have had encouraging words sent to my family and me. Many of you have asked me whom you should support on Tuesday.
Since announcing the suspension of my campaign, I have thought long and hard about what is best for the people of this District, and how to answer your questions. This is not a decision that I have made lightly.
You know me, and throughout my career, I have been always been an independent voice for the people I represent. I have stood for our honest principles, and a truthful discussion of the issues, even when it cost me personally and politically. Since beginning my campaign, I have told you that this election is not about me; it's about the people of this District.
It is in this spirit that I am writing to let you know I am supporting Bill Owens for Congress and urge you to do the same.
It's not in the cards for me to be your representative, but I strongly believe Bill is the only candidate who can build upon John McHugh's lasting legacy in the U.S. Congress. John and I worked together on the expansion of Fort Drum and I know how important that base is to the economy of this region. I am confident that Bill will be able to provide the leadership and continuity of support to Drum Country just as John did during his tenure in Congress.
In Bill Owens, I see a sense of duty and integrity that will guide him beyond political partisanship. He will be an independent voice devoted to doing what is right for New York. Bill understands this district and its people, and when he represents us in Congress he will put our interests first.
Please join me in voting for Bill Owens on Tuesday. To address the tough challenges ahead, we must rise above partisanship and politics and work together. There's too much at stake in this election to do otherwise.
Dede

The GOP is looking really stupid for ever supporting this woman in the first place. Newt Gingrich is basically mud for sticking his neck out for her too. Perhaps now the GOP will take the advice to the conservative base when they hold their noses over these RINO candidates.

The lesson for the GOP; Lay down with RINOs and get you wake up with Democrats.

This RINO Is Toast! Dede Scozzafava Quits NY-23 Race

Über RINO Dede Scozzafava has quit the race for the NY-23 congressional seat.  She quit after the release of the Siena College poll this morning.  Stacy McCain is reporting that Scozzafava will give her support to Doug Hoffman.

The Siena College poll follows what the previous polls showed Owens with a one-point lead over Hoffman and Scozzafava behind by double digits.  What is not clear now is where will her supporters go. Were her supporters really liberals who did not like Owens or were they Republicans with party loyalty?

Whether Hoffman wins, loses or draws notice has been served to the GOP today. The conservative base has sent a clear message to the GOP, get back to your roots or else. This upset should boost Marco Rubio’s chances against mega RINO Charlie Crist in Florida.  Will the GOP heed that message?

Conservative Ad Touts Dede Scozzafava's "Progressive Credentials"

Politico is labeling this ad a political dirty trick.  I say it looks more like truth in advertising.

From Politico:

A brand-new organization calling itself Common Sense in America is up with a major television ad buy in the New York special election, praising Republican Dede Scozzafava as the “best choice for progressives.”
At first glance, the group’s ad looks like it’s an endorsement of Scozzafava. But it’s a dirty trick engineered by Hoffman supporters, looking to render her unacceptable to many Republican voters by detailing her liberal position on gay marriage, support of President Obama’s stimulus and connections to labor.

The group Common Sense in America turns out to have ties to the Club For Growth which is now fully behind Doug Hoffman.

From Politico:

In tracking down information about Common Sense in America, it’s clear they don’t have the best intentions for Scozzafava in mind. The group, which was founded on October 23, is headed by Arkansas businessman Jackson Stephens, a board member of the Club for Growth. The Club for Growth was one of the first groups to endorse Hoffman.
Stephens donated the maximum $4,800 to Hoffman’s campaign, and is one of the Club for Growth’s leading donors.
Calling the group’s phone number – listed on the advertisement – led me to a voice mail from Stephens, which directed all questions about Common Sense in America to Dan Blum, a communications consultant who is serving as a spokesman for the organization. According to FEC records, Blum worked for the Republican National Committee as a staffer as recently as this January.
"Common Sense In America, LLC was recently founded for the purpose of providing factual information about the positions taken by candidates for Congress," said Blum.
"The purpose of this ad, produced independent of any other organization, is to give voters undisputed facts about candidate Dede Scozzafava’s positions. Ms. Scozzafava is clearly and indisputably on record supporting the Obama stimulus, card check, and gay marriage. These positions would make her an ideal candidate for progressive voters in New York’s 23rd congressional district."

Mr. Blum is right Dede would be the perfect candidate for progressives and they can have her. Go Hoffman!

Über RINO Dede Scozzafava: Not Ready For Prime Time

Michael Patrick Leahy, the Tea Party activist who has been going after NY-23 GOP candidate Dede Scozzafava with hammer and tongs, produces this photo of the candidate stumping today outside of one of Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman’s offices. Little-known fact: There are lots of campaign workers, and signs, in such offices, ready to be deployed.
What politician in their right mind would hold a press conference outside one of the offices of their opponent? Did it not dawn on Dede and her crew that Hoffman supporters would come out to play?  She even says she is glad for the supporters!

Add this to Dede and crew calling the cops on a Weekly Standard reporter for asking questions and it becomes quite clear that Ms. Scozzafava is not ready for prime time.

HELP! POLICE! The Little People Are Asking Questions Again!

She may have an R after her name but this gal is a liberal elitist through and through. Check this out from the John McCormack of the Weekly Standard
Tonight, Dede Scozzafava, the Republican candidate for the November 3 special election in the 23rd congressional district, spoke to about 100 Republicans at the Lewis County GOP dinner at the Elks Lodge 1605. After a dinner of turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing, Scozzafava fended off criticism that she wasn't as conservative as third-party candidate Doug Hoffman and urged her supporters to vote for her in order to keep her Democratic opponent Bill Owens from serving as a rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama's agenda in Washington. It was a fairly typical evening--until the speech ended and someone with Scozzafava's campaign called the police. On me.’
Now why did Dede and her crew call the Po-Po on John McCormack?  Because McCormack had the nerve to ask Dede about her position on supporting card-check (Dede says “Yes, yes I do), raising taxes (Dede says “What kind of taxes”) and abortion (Dede kept her yap shut on that one).  You simply have to read McCormack’s blog entry to believe it all.

Make no mistake about it; the GOP is backing an über RINO in Dede.
