Weinergate: Anthony Weiner puts himself in a pickle

I have not spent a whole lot of time following the "ups and downs" of Weinergate because from the initial facts I am fairly certain Anthony Weiner is guilty. Since the breaking of the story Weiner has done little to convince me (or many Americans for that matter) of his innocence.

Yesterday's disastrous CNN interview did a whole lot more damage than good.

If that wasn't bad enough, Weiner's inability to identify a photo of his own junk pretty much confirms his guilt.

Seriously? How can he not know if the picture is of him or not? Unless he his taking or allowing others to take endless pictures of his junk, he should be able to tell if it is him or not.

Lefty bloggers are fighting hard to save their Weiner. They even came up with a possible way a hack could be performed. However, Gateway Pundit has shown how even that hack requires prior authorization.

The bottom line is Anthony Weiner is trying to have it both ways. He knows he got caught out there Tweeting his junk to a young girl on Twitter. In his panic he reached for the easiest excuse at hand; he was hacked. 

Unfortunately, Weiner forgot about the status of his job and thus did not think about the seriousness of what a hack would mean. So now he is caught between a rock and a hard place. Fess up and he will be a known liar and a cheat. Push forward with the hack excuse and he could risk committing a crime. So, Weiner tries for a third option: admit nothing and hope the whole mess dies of old age.

There is little hope that Weiner will be successful in having the whole thing go away. The media, bias as they are, loves a good sex scandal. The only way they will drop this "bone" is if a mega story breaks out. If I were Weiner I would be praying that Palin's bus tour ends with her making the big announcement, otherwise his goose is pretty much cooked.

Typo: White House misspells Libya in tweet

Oops! 

Pundit Press: Well, I may now know why President Obama took so long to talk about the revolts in Libya: his advisors and press people simply cannot spell the country's name.  I mean, it's five whole letters!  No one can figure that out: [MORE]

I am not going to come down too hard on the White House staff on this one.  During the several posts on Libya I made, I noticed I made the same mistake once or twice.  However, my spell checker did catch the mistake each time.

Twitter hacked by Iranian Cyber Army

Yesterday was not a good day for technology. We had Predator Drones being hacked by insurgents, BlackBerry service was interrupted and around 10PM Twitter was hacked. A protest group by the name of the Iranian Cyber Army hacked into Twitter and replaced the homepage with the image above [click image above for larger view]


The message at the bottom once translated, reads:

"U.S.A. Think they are controlling and managing Internet by their access, but they don't. We control and manage Internet by our power, so do not try to stimulation Iranian peoples to... NOW WHICH COUNTRY IN EMBARGO LIST? IRAN? USA? WE PUSH THEM IN EMBARGO LIST ;) Take Care."

UPDATED: Sarah Palin Is Back On Twitter With Book Signing Dates

From Sarah Palin's latest Facebook Note, we learn what her book tour dates will be. In addition, Palin reveals her latest Twitter account: SarahPalinUsa.  By the way, notice in Palin's note below what she says about Michigan.  Is Palin is going to spill all the beans in Going Rogue? "Going Rogue" Book Tour Dates Through Thanksgiving

Here are some details of the upcoming book tour. I’m starting in Michigan and you’ll understand why when you read the book. Last year, I made a promise to the good people of Michigan that I would be back, and now I’m keeping that promise. (Michigan is near and dear to my family’s heart! Our eldest son, Track, lived with a great host family there during his hockey days.)

From Michigan, the “Going Rogue” tour will cover as much of the country as possible. I’ve decided to stop in cities that are not usually included in a typical book tour. For instance, I’m looking forward to meeting our honorable men in women in uniform and their families at a Fort Bragg book signing, and to reconnecting with friends my family made last year on the campaign trail in different book signing venues. 

We have a tight schedule, but I’m working with the publisher to allow possibilities of stopping at a few unannounced places, too.

Meghan McCain: The Twit On Twitter Tweets Her Tits

Get a load of this or should I say “these”? Meghan McCain, who has not been heard from recently mind you, was sitting home bored last night and decided to post a twitter picture of herself reading Andy Warhol.

From NY Daily News: 

"[My] 'spontaneous' night in is my Andy Warhol biography and takeout. ... I'm getting old," she writes.

Well as you can see from the photo, she kind of looks like the Pamela Anderson nude ad on R.S. McCain’s blog rather than someone getting old.

Once the Twit on Twitter started getting feed back about the buxom black and white photo, Meghan got all defensive and junk. 

"So I took a fun picture not thinking anything about what I was wearing, but apparently anything other than a pantsuit, I am a slut," she Twittered. 

When that did not work she got all Little Ms. Pissy Pants:

 Then she threatened to abandon her Twitter account altogether. "[Why] I have been considering deleting my twitter account, what once was fun now just seems like a vessel for harassment."

Finally Ol’ Mammary Meghan came full circle to the mea culpa:

I do want to apologize to anyone that was offended by my twitpic," McCain wrote Wednesday about the photo that has been viewed 103,911 and counting. "I have clearly made a huge mistake and am sorry 2 those that are offended."

Quite frankly, I say Meghan knew exactly what she was doing.  She is a first class attention whore who has not been in the news for a long time.  So it was lights, camera, action and cheesecake! Personally I hope she continues tweeting cheesecake photos, she is far better suited for that then giving advice on how to remake the Republican party.

Meghan McCain: That Twit On Twitter.

Ok Meghan McCain, it is time someone gave you a little bit of advice. Since you are convinced that you have all the answers for rebuilding the Republican Party, you might want to start cultivating a more serious image… like now! Really girl, your tweets on Twitter have got to be the most vacuous bullshit I ever read. You sound like a twit on Twitter! I know you say that this is your personal junk, but come on!

If you want to stand toe to toe against serious, educated, conservative women like Laura Ingraham or Ann Coulter, you are going to have to sound like you do not have an echo chamber inside that little blonde head of yours.

For example, you tweeted today about Emimen and how cool he looks in his new video (Lord, is this video retarded).

[I used to have the hugest crush on Eminem when I was in high school and he still looks hot in his new music video]

That is sweet in a high school kind of way. However, serious women will eat your lunch for completely missing the blatant misogyny against Governor Palin in that video! You do realize that marginalizing Governor Palin also marginalizes the Republican Party, the very same party you still claim to be a member of and want to “progress“.

Also speaking of the Republican Party, your little piece in the Daily Beast about being creeped out over Karl Rove following your tweets. Get over yourself! He is probably following you to get a good laugh. Yeah girl, the folks are laughing at you. Yes they are! Why? Simple, you say you have all this thought provoking stuff to share with the Republican Party then you tweet BS like this:

Somehow I don’t see Laura or Ann doing this right after a discussion about the consequences of the Obama Administration releasing those CIA memos.

Also, while we are at it, if you want to get taken seriously in politics, especially Republican politics, you might want to start writing a few more critical pieces about the Democrats. A search of both your blogs only revealed one!

I know that at Columbia University (John, Cindy, I smell a refund) leftwing ideology rules and the indoctrination is heavy duty, but for crying out loud your last name gives you access to some of the best Republican minds and all you can come up with is stale old leftwing talking points against Republicans?

So Meghan, in conclusion, if you do not want conservatives to place you on the ignore list like Brooks, Frum and Parker, you need to close that Twitter account like yesterday! Then distance yourself from the keyboard and give yourself time to THINK. Use that last name of yours to speak with some really smart people on both sides of the isle. Then and only then will Conservatives and Republicans take time to consider what you have to say, instead of saying “hey, did you hear what that twit Meghan McCain said on Twitter today”?
