Coming right on the heels of bondage nightclub debacle, the RNC now has a fundraising letter out with the phone number of a sex line on it.
Politico: [...]The Republican National Committee sent a fundraising mail piece earlier this month with a return number that leads to a phone-sex line offering "live, one-on-one talk with a nasty girl who will do anything you want for just $2.99 per minute."
At the bottom of a piece designed to resemble a census form, a toll-free number is listed next to the national party's address.[...]
If ever the RNC needed to bring their A-Game now is the time. The Democrats have come out the closet as wild-eyed big government control freaks and independents cannot run away fast enough. The RNC seems like it just wants to sitting back and waiting to reap the rewards, rather than offering these fleeing independents a better choice.
This is unacceptable. Conservatives did not strongly stand against the Democrats to see their efforts dashed by the incompetent horny RINOs that make up the RNC leadership. After 2012 I think it will be time to consider scuttling the GOP and bring about an actual TEA Party.

One peeved staffer could be responsible for this. On the other hand 2.99 a minute is a lost less taxpayer money than of these jokers in Congress spend every day. Run the numbers. Maybe more phone sex is the answer.
Just joking, still pushing short terms for all government officials.
I think this was a stupid mistake. The RNC needs to do a check of who they employ to oversee these kind of tasks. Whoever the administrative staff is they are either incompetent or is a plant, deliberately trying to undermine the Republican party(one such occurrence is understandable and while amusing, nothing more than a gaffe, but to have a string of them...) imho of course.
Na, they're just building some street cred with the disaffected Democrat party block-

ROTFLMBAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rachel Ann:
I am thinking that this is a management problem. The RNC seems stuck in 2008 mode on so many other things. They need to wake up and smell the TEA brewing.
Ozzie:
Well come 2010 and 2012 we can send them over to their Dem fan base.
Some folks are worried about the "third party" problem.
The GOP best be looking at ways to ensure that it is one of the three.
.......... we can show them the door as well in November!
NOOOO!!! to third parties.
It would be a terrible mistake on behalf of the Tea Party. I believe they should remain an idea and a movement, not a party or PAC.
In supporting or propping up candidates the TPM lends itself to infiltration and invalidation by toxic candidates. At this point the TPM can only decline and every move needs to be calculated.
I agree with Janelle/Rachel Ann about the disgruntled worker theory- There should not be such incompetence at that level of politics.
OK.
I'll agree.
Absolutely no "third parties" what so ever.
What shall we do with the empty bag that was the GOP?
