FMJRA: Help Technorati Ate My Homework

The Technorati Monster is now running buck wild!

As some of you may know Technorati did a major update to their site this week. So major was it that they lost all the links and my Technorati Authority as well.  Heck, you cannot even find your page anymore. At any rate, I rely on Technorati heavily to complete the weekly FMJRA.

So if anyone linked me this week, please scoot me an email with the link to your post or leave a comment here with the link.  Hopefully Technorati will get their act together by next week.

Thanks!

I read abou ten political blogs. I have commented less than five times all told on the others. Mostly they tend to tick me off.

A couple of them are ranked very highly in this stuff. I thought you might also be posting your ranking......more to give me a feel for "where I am" in the political realm of thinking.

You ruffle me a little now and then, but you stay on the high road and haven't beat a dead dog to death yet.

I'm not sure how the linking works when the person linking is not writing a political blog...I just write crap.

Cliff - I haven't linked you, but I saw Opus posted on this Technorati issue as well.

I (by your advice) subscribed to the service but hadn't even really started using it yet, and now it's exploded!! I also could not find my ping page.

Sorry for the trouble it's causing you.

In the mean time, I saw you linked the South Park / ACORN clip - I did as well. I also just did an expose on
the NFL and Limbaugh
... once again it seems to all go back to team Obama !

I am honored that you have stuck with me and that you comment here most frequently! Take that big blogs, I've got @eloh!

My Technorati Authority, such as it was, is posted on the right hand side of the blog just above the Info Links. It was at 67 before the Technorati Monster broke loose. From what I read of the new changes, the Authority number will be much more dynamic.

Linking works no matter what you right. So many of the bloggers I have read and displayed on the FMJRA came from people linking me. I see the link, so I go read their blog.

RightKlik"

I know what you mean. My Authority was no longer looking laughable and now poof gone.

Thanks for the heads up on the Opus' Technorati post and double heads up on the NFL story.

From what I read, you no longer have to ping! It seems to be automatic.

I, too, am confused by the Technorati situation.

I have a widget from the old site, with my old authority on it (47). I click on it and it takes me to this page, where my authority is listed as 512 today. A few days ago it was 516.

I am not sure what all of this means. But I can't find the link-ers to me either. :-(

Wow impressive jump, I am now at 1 and it is not showing my new post. Did you reclaim your blog?

I am still searching Technorati to see where the links are hiding.

I didn't do anything. I logged on as usual using my widget as a link, and tried to ping my blog, but could not find the button.

I don't know what the story is. Maybe because I have been on there a long time. I was a mommy blogger on this same blog, back to Feb 2007, before I took up politics with this last election. I hear when people get Alzheimers they forget their new friends but remember their childhood. Maybe something like that?
