South Park Spoofs The ACORN Scandal

You just knew this was coming.  From Brietbart's Big Government:

The ACORN scandal was immortalized tonight on “South Park.” The plot of the season 13 episode “Butters’ Bottom Bitch” is that Butters, the adorably naïve fourth grader starts a “kissing company” that grows to the point where he is a pimping out 10+ prostitutes, many of whom are underage. Always the sharp social commentators, the “South Park” crew sent Butters and Co. to ACORN to try to get a housing grant for these prostitutes:
You can view the full episode here. For those of you who are big South Park fans, check out Teh Resistance Blog.

This isn't a comment Clifton, more like a "heads up".

I followed the links you suggested as I am a South Park fan...I found this statement on the Teh Resistance Blog..."It was accompanied by this photo of ‘Rocky,’ a raccoon that has taken up residence outside her Los Angeles home."...Making reference to the Tammy Bruce Blog...and her take on the recent post on the Nobel Prize.

I wondered if this was a joke or a lie.....it is a photo taken in a taxadermy shop, notice the baddger also mounted in the background.

Evidently, someone had pointed out this "error" to Ms. Bruce because the photo had been removed from her blog entry and replaced with just a box of Cracer Jacks minus the racoon. (That has supposedly taken up residence.)

I hold my Conservatives to a high standard...higher than the average bear....thus, I am pretty much stuck to you like glue...so far.

Retired Criminal Investigator here...the devil is truly in the details....and what it says about character in this instance.

While I'm complaining......why are you and so many conservatives giving advertising space to the green footballs. Please rethink this. I have NO expertise in advertising...but it just seems wrong. Maybe a short post here and there would be better?

From what I can tell, Tammy Bruce did post the picture. I think it was an honest mistake. She was more interested in the Craker Jacks surprise theme, but the left instantly saw the "Coon" meme.

Tammy Bruce is NOT a racist if that is what you are thinking. Months before this picture incident Tammy Bruce joined A Black Conservative Digest http://blacknright.wordpress.com/2009/06/15/tammy-bruce-joins-abcd/

This is what happens when people go aggressively hunting for subtle racism. All too often innocent people get caught making innocent mistakes.

RE: Little Green Footballs. Speaking of racism, LGF is trading in the very kind of made up racism that smeared Rush and thus the logo stays. I will put together a small post as well.

Clifton, you're comments are always solid gold. Thanks for pointing out the errors of the "subtle racism smear." I saw that racoon and never even thought of a racist connection until I saw it here. Some folks have been over-sensitized and see racism where none was intended.

I watched the South Park toon. I love South Park!

Well, I didn't even think about it being racist.

It is rather hard to post a picture of a racoon who "has taken up residence" in your back yard when said racoon is stuffed.

Thanks. Yeah the subtle racism thing is starting to get way out of hand.

I am a huge South Park fan myself.

I'm not a big fan of South Park, but I have to admit, that clip was really funny!
