Epic Fail: Only 6% of Americans believe the stimulus created jobs

I don’t think I have ever seen poll numbers like this for a policy before.  Keep in mind this comes from a left leaning New York Times/ CBS poll.

In December the Obama Administration announced they had “saved or created” 1.1 million jobs.
In January the Obama Administration announced they had “saved or created” 2 million jobs.
Too bad for Obama that Americans aren’t buying his “saved or created” nonsense.

Just 6% of Americans believe the $787 “stimulus” boondoggle created any jobs according to a recent New York Times/CBS poll.
With numbers like this, you have to wonder why politicians seeking re-election on both sides of the aisle have not started talking about canceling the stimulus? It would seem like the smart thing to do both fiscally and politically.

Unbelievable number: 6%!!!

Even more unbelievable: 41% still have "hope."

What is wrong with that fringe 6%? And what is wrong with Obama and the Democrats in Congress that keep pushing the stupid idea that the stimulus work for jobs creation? That bill was nothing more then a Democratic Party slush fund to help get Democrats elected this year and 2012. They have only spent 1/3 of the money. So that bill wasn't about j0obs or the economy like they sold it to us. Impeachment is what they deserve.

That 41% goes to show how we ended up in this situation in the first place.

Chris:

If our media was actually functioning in this country, the administration would have never been able to get away with the stimulus in the first place.
