Evil! Using abortion to cut health care costs

Over at the National Review Online (NRO), Robert Costa tells us about a telephone interview Bart Stupak had with NRO.  In the interview, Stupak tells us about how Pro-Life Dems are starting to cave under pressure from the White House, Pelosi, unions and the nutroots.

The part of the interview that made my stomach churn was the attitude of Democrat House leaders that Stupak describes as follows:
Stupak notes that his negotiations with House Democratic leaders in recent days have been revealing. “I really believe that the Democratic leadership is simply unwilling to change its stance,” he says. “Their position says that women, especially those without means available, should have their abortions covered.” The arguments they have made to him in recent deliberations, he adds, “are a pretty sad commentary on the state of the Democratic party.”
What are Democratic leaders saying? “If you pass the Stupak amendment, more children will be born, and therefore it will cost us millions more. That’s one of the arguments I’ve been hearing,” Stupak says. “Money is their hang-up. Is this how we now value life in America? If money is the issue — come on, we can find room in the budget. This is life we’re talking about.” [MORE]
There is only one way to describe such thoughts and that is EVIL! Facilitating abortion that snuffs out innocent human life, all for the sake of saving government money is EVIL. Knowing that the money “saved” will not doubt end up wasted on fraud and corruption is even more EVIL.  If having the government run health care means we all have to accept such concepts, then I say kill this evil bill right here and right now.

Gave you a little linky love. I have a question for you though, why didn't you touch on the racial implications of this statement? The poor people in this country tend to be minorities. That is just a fact that I am sure that the dems are aware of.

I absolutely agree, Cliff. Everything the dems are doing right now stinks of evil. Health care, cap and tax, the Stupak Amendment, it's all coming to a head, and the next great battle between the two is looming on the horizon. Fix bayonets!

Lost in the ugliness that this is: the fact that they believe that without government monies, these very babies would be allowed to live.

They insist upon using our money to destroy Americans.

Thanks for the Linky Love, you know I just cannot get enough of that.

I did not go racial on this story because ,as much as a nightmare abortion is to the black community, the evil behind their scheme effects us all.

So much of the leftist agenda is evil. That is why they hide behind a false veneer of compassion. That is also why they went ape shit over Sarah Palin's death panel remark, because it exposed their evil.

If you ever want to get a liberal/ progressive hopping mad, let them know the evil of their deeds. It is like spontaneous combustion!

That is part of the deception. They want you to believe they are doing good, all the while they are hiding sinister motives.

BTW, gave you blog of the day!

The only reason I asked is that it seems more geniune coming from a person of color as opposed to a lilly white girl who grew up in a rich suburb. It is harder for the black community to take me seriously. I am still the white girl who stole a good black man.

I think that onservatives and pro life people of color need to speak out more on the issues of abortion in the black community and the reasons that they are being used.
