The future under ObamaCare


Here is a glimpse of the future should ObamaCare pass. 
Seattle Times: Effective April 16, Walgreens drugstores across the state won't take any new Medicaid patients, saying that filling their prescriptions is a money-losing proposition — the latest development in an ongoing dispute over Medicaid reimbursement. 
In a news release, Walgreens said its decision to not take new Medicaid patients stemmed from a "continued reduction in reimbursement" under the state's Medicaid program, which reimburses it at less than the break-even point for 95 percent of brand-name medications dispensed to Medicaid patents. This is exactly the problem with government run health care. The government can set all the rules, but it is the businesses and individuals who have to live with the consequences of reality. It is also a way in which government can force us into a single payer situation. Simply by making unreasonable demands on pharmacies, doctors, insurance companies, etc the government will force them to close. After a while the private system can no longer adequately provide service and just like that single payer becomes the only viable option.
