Kucinich switches his vote to YES

Sounds like he is doing it to save Obama’s bacon:
From Politico: “One of the things that’s bothered me is the attempt to try to delegitimize his presidency. That hurts the nation when that happens. He was elected,” Kucinich said. “We have to be very careful that the potential of President Obama’s presidency not be destroyed by this debate. And I feel, even though I have many differences with him on policy, there’s something much bigger at stake here for America, and that’s what I’d like people to think about.”
Kucinich’s switch may help Nancy get those progressives who were originally a NO to switch to YES, but I cannot see any Blue Dogs wanting to throw in with Kucinich.  Let see how this works out.

Dennis Kucinich might want to explain who is attempting to delegitimize the President. That is, besides the President, himself. No President has ever put every single scrap of background information under lock like Obama. It doesn't appear to be modesty on his part, so why not release it?

I suspect we will learn at some point in the future what promises were made by Obama to Kucinich, or what threats were leveled against him.

I suspect a combination of dollars flowing to his district, along with a promise of 'Don't worry, this is just a step toward your goal of a fully socialized system.' probably swayed him.

His announcement is no surprise.

The bigger question is: Does he have a conservative opponent this fall, and where do we send money to support him?

It really just comes down to that.

In the meantime, I keep dialing representatives' field offices and talk in gentle tones. Capitol Hill switchboard is busy signals only now.

Did he happen to mention what he was given to switch his vote? Wonder what it will be...I'm sure we'll find out in the near future.

Dennis the Menace never fails to disappoint. For someone with such strong convictions (weird as they may be), it seems rather odd that he would vote for something he disagrees with to save B-Raks job. Wonder what else he got besides a ride in AF 1?

He's proven he has a price, and the price includes abandoning his constituents.

May his days in Hell last as long as he betrays the people that elected him and the country he swore to protect.

Kucinich has always been so far out in left field that nobody paid much attention to him. Now, he is the man of the hour and I bet he is loving every minute of all the attention he is being showered with.

Well, at least he finally got hitched - prior to that, he lived with his mom.

Kucinich may also want to consider going against the will of the people as delegitimizing too.

Just like with the Senate bill, all the wheeling a dealing will come out after the vote.

I too what to know who the republican or conservative is who is running against the elf.

Knowing what a screwball Kucinich is, the ride on AF1 was probably enough. It brought him closer to the aliens.

From what I am told Kucinich is an attention whore. Shining the spot light on him, may have been enough to make him cave.

Amen!

How did that little elf hook up with such a rich hottie?

Like I said, I have heard he is an attention whore. You are probably spot on.
