Hillary Clinton election ready?

WASHINGTON-Hillary Clinton says running for office isn't on her "radar," but she still has an eight-person political team and sports two overflowing campaign war chests.

Her team transformed the former Democratic White House contender's massive campaign debts into a $3 million mountain of political cash, according to federal fund-raising records through the end of June.

Clinton's failed presidential bid is now $1 million in the black, and her old Senate campaign committee has $2.1 million in the bank, much of it transferred in from the presidential account. The former First Lady paid eight staffers nearly $100,000 in the second quarter of the year to tend to the remains of her political empire.

I said it before and I will say it again, Hillary will jump ship the moment Obama looks like a complete looser. She will not screw up her political future by getting pulled down with a sinking ship.

What I find interesting about this is that there are Democrats out there who are still giving to her campaign. I wonder if they represent Democrats who are not happy with the way Obama has turned out so far? Time will tell.

I think I read that she isn't interested in running for President again, but I wouldn't put anything past her. If Obama continues to decline in popularity (personal & policy wise), I don't think she'd pass up the opportunity to give it another shot.

They all say they aren't running right up until they are running. Hillary wanted the big chair really bad and we know she did not like getting beaten by Obama.

I just cannot imagine her letting her political future get damaged by a failed Obama administration.

Watch Hillary to do a Bobby Kennedy in 2012- everybody knows there's no real loyalty, and Hill surely hasn't lost any of her blinding ambition... why go down with the USS Obamamania?

Of course RFK was Attorney General, and when President Johnson's popularity started to slip, Kennedy turned on him and ran for President against him in the 1968 primaries. So anyone telling you today that the Democrats wouldn't run a serious primary challenge against Obama in 2012 -which I have heard often on lib blogs and elsewhere- clearly has no idea what they're talking about.

The recent hiring of Sid Blumenthal by Hillary is interesting, to say the least- he's about as loyal a Clintonite Rottweiler as one could imagine... brought on right as Obama's poll numbers begin to slip. Hmmm.

Barack Obama's personality quirks and narcissism bring predictable behaviors and reactions... the kinds of things that one's political opponents tend to take notice -and full advantage- of. You can be sure that the Clintons have- and have planned accordingly.

I think this guy is nuts Clifton- I'm completely serious.

I see Obama's policies putting a terrible stink on the Democrats. As such Democrats are rapidly becoming out of vogue with the electorate. It would be in any Democrat's best interest to stand in stark contrast to Obama. I think Hillary sees this too and that is why she will jump ship and start waving her flag or moderate Democrat.

I don't think Obama is nuts, but I do believe he is a hardcore ideologue who would sacrifice everything to see his version of America come true.

I've had a feeling for weeks she's already been edging for the port bow, life preserver in hand. I think she sees buzzards circling and wants to relieve herself of the burden of Teh Won before too much stink spreads.
