Pravda calls out our socialist UPDATED

Never in my wildest nighmares, did I ever imagine the day when Pravda would paint an accurate picture of America. Pravda use to be one of the official mouth pieces of the old Soviet Union, much like the New York Times is the mouth piece for the DNC today. Check this out and tell me if they got it right:

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

The entire article is a must read. Now I am begining to wonder if that Russian professor was right last year when he suggested that America would split up in 2010.

It has been brought to my attention by one of the commenters (Count Busy), that the author of the Pravda piece is actually a blogger named Stanislav Mishin. His blog can be found here and the original April post can be found here. Spread a little linkage and check him out.

If America were run by Obamists, that is how things might shake out. I have met people on the internet and in rural America, however, who are willing to take a stand against the ruination of America. There will be a big mess to clean up when this is over. This rush toward socialism will cause debt problems for generations. But the American people want to be free and, in fact, insist on it.

I pray everyday that you are right about that. It gets discouraging when I see so many people paying more attention to their iPods than their government.

I first heard about this from an ultra-conservative with a crocodile smile on his face while he was telling me about it so I assumed he was joking or blowing it up, but then I read about it & he was 100% accurate.

Social awareness & compassion, very important, but hard work, respect & determination are also.
Dr John linked to you so I stopped by for a visit.

It seems that Pravda has more clarity about what we are facing in the US than our own media. Pathetic, truly pathetic. As you say Clifton, never in my lifetime or nightmares would I have thought....keep up the good work! Thanks for the support at LCR too.

Good that you have posted this but you have done like Rush Limbaugh did today and gave all props to Pravda and none to the author.

All Pravda did was post commentary made by Stanislav Mishin on his site in April.

Check him out. He deserve some hits and props. He has some right on comments today regarding perversity being embraced in the West and the homosexual agenda.

I posted something as well, and it reminded me of a quote from Benjamin Franklin to Dr.Rush.

“Well, Doctor, what have we got—a Republic or a Monarchy?”

“A Republic, if you can keep it.”

I would hope that some could stay independent and true to the constitution and our founding father's principles.

I too was shocked to have read that this piece was found in Pravda. What next Tass telling us we are now Weinmar?

Please thank Dr. John for the linkage!

Come back again!

Thanks for the heads up. I should have read the byline much more carefully, but the title alone grabbed my attention. I will create an update to this post to send some linkage his way.

I am certain that some will stay true, but the question is, are there enough of them?
