Tea Parties, they're not just for conservatives

"Just because I don't have sophisticated language, I can recognize a liar when I see one"
Ouch! That came from a Democrat to Majority House Leader Steny Hoyer! Perhaps Mr. Hoyer did not see that line coming because the protester wasn't wearing his Brooks Brothers best.

My favorite line from this Democrat patriot:
"Why would you guys try to stuff a health care bill down our throats in three to four weeks, when the President took six months to pick a dog for his kids"?
I would love to see old Steny answer that one. People both on the left and the right are easily seeing through Obama and Congress' flimsy lies. We all know the big rush on heath care has more to do with its political viability than its necessity. Common sense tells us that with our skyrocketing national debt, now is not the time for an expensive health care reform (i.e. take over).

The truth is that Obama and the Democrats know that their majority is temporary. If single payer government control health care is to come about, it has to be shoved on Americans now. By 2010 all hope will be gone.

While I have great faith in Americans raising their voices against this insane plan, I am not sure Congress will listen. I fear that there are too many career Democrats and funky Republican RINOs who will just pass this thing no matter what people say.

I hope you are wrong about the flunky dems and rinos. I pray to God our voices have an effect.

The Tea Party phenomenon appeals to all responsible, law abiding citizens who are tired of the Washington aristocracy.

To Democrats: you are not supposed to think for yourselves. Don't question Obama, he is too smart for you. Your job is to keep voting for democrats and don't ask questions. Most importantly, don't worry. Obama's in control.

OR

The elitists running the show better realize quick that real American's think for themselves.

What gives me the giggles is that Democratic "leaders" in DC are doing this to themselves. They already had the majority, had it for the past 2+ years, and they are doing everything in their power to make sure the constituents they represent become aggravated in every way. Had they slowed down and thought it out, rather than doing all the things they've accused EVILBOOOOSH of doing the past 8 years, they might have had a better chance of holding on to that majority.

They've ensured their own doing-in, by ramming everything down our throats all at once without listening to ANY of us, without answering questions, deflecting blame, covering up blatant stupidity, spending gazillions that we will never be able to repay and ensuring our children and grandchildren to a life of indentured servitude to whatever country subsidizes their insatiable appetite for MONEY, and on and on and on.

I am Independent, have been so for years. HOWEVER, I am a conservative first and foremost. Election night, Obama stood there and said that he was going to be "my" president, too, even though I didn't vote for him. I waited... and waited... and waited. He proved to me in just 6 months' time that that wait was NEVER going to be justified and that he was NEVER going to be "my" president when he allowed one of his lackeys to stand there and call a portion of US voters (AKA TAXPAYERS SICK OF WASTE AND FRAUD AND ABUSE) RABID.

I am praying too! However, when I see Obama and the Democrats trying to demonize Americans who disagree with health care reform, I begin to wonder just how much they fear us.

Obama, the Democrat and the MSM certainly don't want to see it that way. They are desperately trying to create the image that Tea Parties are strictly a Republican affair.

So very true. Whatever the progressives true goal is, I am certain they did not count on so much resistance.

You are so right that the Dems are doing themselves in. I wonder if they ever heard of that old saying "you catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar".

They had two years to soft sell heath care reform. They could have gradually and kindly won over the people, but instead they go for the gangster approach and all hell seems to be breaking loose.

Furthermore you are right Obama is not my president. No president of mine would ever ask Americans to snitch on each other because of an opposing political view. That kind of crap is just pure fascism and should never spring forth from the POTUS!
