Controversial ad address a painful truth

I found this story on Huffington Post tonight (yes, I sanitized my keyboard) about the billboard in the picture above.  The Georgia Right to Life sponsors the billboard.  The ad has gotten mixed reviews. While saying black children are an endangered species may offend the delicate PC sensibilities of some, the numbers don’t lie, more black children are aborted than the top seven causes of death for black people nationwide.

From CNS News [emphasis added mine]:
Abortion killed at least 203,991 blacks in the 36 states and two cities (New York City and the District of Columbia) that reported abortions by race in 2005, according to the CDC.  During that same year, according to the CDC, a total of 198,385 blacks nationwide died from heart disease, cancer, strokes, accidents, diabetes, homicide, and chronic lower respiratory diseases combined.  These were the seven leading causes of death for black Americans that year.
You can only imagine what the real number is when you count all 50 states. If being controversial is what it takes to finally address this madness, then so be it.

I've been saying this for years. The highest abortion rates are among the black population, which is a travesity. Yet, those on the left seem to want to pretend they are protecting minority. There is no larger minority than the indivigual and none weaker than the unborn.

I reposted this on my blog.

Love your site!

Question: how has that affected the population of blacks in this nation?

That would be a feature of the system, not a bug. It's all about population control, just like healthcare DE-form.

The elitists (predominantly on the left) despise the "inferior" classes; no matter how they crow about their support of minorities, THEY have milked the US taxpayer for decades for funding of Planned Parenthood... which COINCIDENTALLY finds its focus in black neighborhoods. We are paying to exterminate ourselves and our fellow citizens.

Any of us useless eaters (black, white, brown, color matters not) not finding the way to PP are likely to be medicated with psychotropic drugs. They want fewer of us, and they need us compliant, to follow like good sheep. They're able to get away with it thanks to the dependency class they created with their "war on poverty" (again, color is not the issue). *End, conspiracy theorist rant*

How much damage has the Democratic party done to the black population of this country, socially, economically, physically? HOW MUCH MORE WILL THEY BE ALLOWED TO DO BEFORE PEOPLE OF *ALL* COLORS WAKE UP?

Each life is a gift from God, planned or not, regardless of the circumstances, and the *only* time abortion should even be considered an option is in cases of SERIOUS physical danger (not psychological "risks" they yammer on about now to justify late-term abortion) to the mother and/or infant. Any procedure performed after viability (around 24 weeks, give or take) should be outlawed and prosecuted - both the physician and the birth vessel requesting it. Personally, I would rather see my tax dollars paying for expensive medical care for a 24-week preemie mom decided she didn't want, delivered and placed with someone who *does* want it (and there is no lack of families who wait years to adopt), THAN PAYING FOR THAT CHILD TO BE SLAIN. At least he or she will have a chance to live and grow and love. Sounds corny, but I always think of that Collin Raye song, "What if Jesus Comes Back Like That." WHAT IF... and we allowed him to be aborted? That sounds like a smiting offense to me.

There are SO many other options; yet the "pro-choice" movement seemingly promotes the notion that the ONLY "choice" is abortion. They are *not* pro-choice in any way but *are* pro-ABORTION. Offering only a single option automatically negates it as a CHOICE and ultimately turns it into a MANDATE, an order to be obeyed.

Right Coast:

Thanks for the repost, this is an issue that is crying out for attention.

The Griper:

It is impossible to comprehend the full impact. Think about this, one of the many things you hear in defense of these numbers is that abortion saves these children from a life of poverty, etc.

This is nonsense. Think about Obama, he was not born into ideal circumstance and look where he ended up!

Angie Lee:

That is one of the biggest problem about Planned Parenthood being located in black neighborhoods. They are not offering black women real choice! This was the great plan of the racist eugenist Marget Sanger

Many months ago, I had the privilege to hear Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, speak on the issue of abortion on demand, which she strongly opposes. She is at the heart of the main issue in civil rights today. In 1850, it was slavery. In 1950, it was Jim Crow. Today, it is the civil rights of those who are innocent, helpless human beings. A person inside an airplane is not part of the airplane. A fetus inside a woman is not part of the woman's body; it has different DNA, which is why a blue-eyed mother can give birth to a green-eyed baby.

Why is this controversial? If the data is accurate, it speaks volumes by itself.
