Drunk 4 year old plays Grinch in drag

Four year old Hayden Wright, got drunk, escaped his house, stole his neighbor's Christmas presents and then roamed the streets in a brown dress from one of the stolen gifts. You just cannot make up stuff like this.  As you watch the video below, listen to what the mother says about how the little boy wants to be like his father the jailbird. 


Question: Why does this four year old boy even know that his father is in jail? What happened to the good old days when adults committed lies of omission to spare young minds ugly truths?
