"There's something about August going into September where everyone in Washington gets all 'wee-weed' up," the president said.
This has to be the strangest thing Obama has said to date while trying to sell his hunk of junk health care program. While at the DNC during an online forum on health care, Obama blamed the Republicans and the media for his current woes.
This is total nonsense. The Republican have been and still are powerless to prevent Obama and the Democrats from passing health care reform. Blaming the media is laughable when you have the like of MSNBC manufacturing racism to fight back health care opponents.
If anyone is “wee-weeing up" the joint it is Obama and his own party. It is the Democrats control freakish bill that is turning everyone off. It is Obama’s own rhetoric that doesn’t match the bill’s content. It is the Democrats inability to let go of the very unpopular public option. It is the Democrats increasingly arrogant tone toward voter’s concerns. It is the Democrats own decision to shut out Republicans early on. It is the Democrats willingness to thwart the will of the people and use reconciliation to pass the unpopular bill. All this an more is why Obama and the Democrats’ health care reform is getting all wee-weed up!

I though it was a reference to what becomes of a man's private parts when he jumps in a cold pool...
I find it funny that Democrats still insist that protestors of their health care plan are plants being paid by insurance companies. I sure as hell haven't been recruited by any insurance company and I haven't been paid to speak my mind either. The Dems live in a fantasy that America is OZ and all we have to do is follow the yellow brick road they laid out to reach Kansas!
I think he was trying to avoid saying the F word. Another instance where he sorely lacked the teleprompter.
...everyone in Washington gets all 'wee-weed' up...
This is Harvard style ebonics. It's really spelled 'we weed up' meaning get really stoned. The resultant stupidity is just a bonus.
That picture will have me laughing all day. Everyone else will think 'he weed up!'
When I first heard this quote, I thought someone was being sarcastic. Did he really say that? What does it mean??
Soloman:
ROTFLMAO! That is a good one.
Mkotyk88:
Actually what the Democrats and Obama are engaging in is projection. They accuse us of being plants, astroturfing and so forth, because that is actually what they are doing.

It seems the harder he trys to explain this crap sandwich, the less sense he makes.
Gary Coleman was the first thing that came to mind when I heard this strange expression from Obama. Whatchoo talkin 'bout Obama?
Steve Burri:
When I first saw the caption and picture on Drudge, I thought, damn has Obama returned to his old habbits!
MissTammy:
Yes he really did say that. As to what it means, we can add that to the long list of unanswered questions of the health care debate.

Humm, a replacement for the F-bomb. Could be, but it certainly lacks the force of the F-bomb.
If I were his handlers, that man would have a pocket teleprompter at all times.
