Who are the deniers now? The White House scoffs at Climategate

From The Hill
Despite the incident, which rocked international headlines last week, climate science is sound, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs stressed this afternoon, and the White House nonetheless believes "climate change is happening."
"I don't think that's anything that is, quite frankly, among most people, in dispute anymore," he said during Monday's press briefing.

SNIP
"I think there's no real scientific basis for the dispute of this," responded Gibbs to questions about those scientists' credibility.

Talk about not in touch with reality. A read though of the email [all of them can be found here] shows a clear pattern of deception from the global warming scientist. Many on the left will try to sugar coat the emails, but any sane person reading them will say they scream deception. The dumping of the original data only makes things worse.

Before America borrows and spends billions if not trillions more on climate change, one would think we would want to make absolutely sure there is not fraud being perpetrated. After all we are spending the money of future generations.

What I also find surprising about Gibbs statement is that it shows complete deafness to criticisms of this administration’s own credibility. After promising that the stimulus would keep unemployment at 8%, the administration’s word is on shaky grounds with the American people. How will it look if this administration throws away billions on Cap and Trade only to find out that climate change was a fraud.

I don't think that numbers -- billions, trillions, etc. hold much meaning for this administration. They're just numbers, right? We can always borrow more and if it's wasted money -- after all, it's the federal government and they waste your money so you don't have to.

That billions would be spend on cap/trade for nothing isn't the point, is it? That global warming is a hoax isn't the point, is it?

There is an agenda at work and it has nothing to do with inconvenient truth of a hoax.

The problem is that the welfare of the nation is at stake here. We can't keep slicing our wrists forever.

The Libs are in denial...

On one of the blogs I read, I saw a "not-much-to-it" piece, taken from one of those tree-hugging-mags.

Bleahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

Pajamas Media went into the belly of the beast and, in citing the questioned chunk of data from the 90s, had a Warmist respondent reply something to the effect that it was an insignificant slice of their 150-year sample or words to that effect..

..failing to realize that their total sample is mayby 10-12 decaudes of data onto millenia.

..Oooooooommmmmmmm-Oooooooommmmmmmm-Oooooooommmmmmmm..

The White House also believes in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and a smart President.

It's interesting to me that he said "climate change" is real. He didn't say that anthropomorphic global warming is real, which is what he would have said if he was actually denying, because that's the real issue at hand. The climate changes all the time. Those are called seasons. LOL That's not the issue. They're trying to throw us off, but we're too smart for that. Whether we can control the climate or not through taxation and global justice is the real issue, and because anthropomorphic global warming has been discredited by REAL scientists, the only answer we get is "climate change is real." Nice. So is the sun.

How much money is spend isn't an issue since they think American Currency is monopoly money which it will be at the rate they're printing it. The issue is totalitarian control of our lives. Hence why their only defense now is to cry out, "Paid no mind to the man behind the Curtain."
