From AP: Widely viewed as dead two months ago, the Senate-passed bill cleared the House on a 219-212 vote, with Republicans unanimous in opposition.
Congressional officials said they expected Obama to sign the bill as early as Tuesday.
Take a deep breath and forget about that feeling of despair. Tomorrow morning we must all focus on repealing, litigating or defunding this hunk of junk. We can work through the courts, via the states and at the polls. One way or another, we must never allow this nation to be railroaded like this again.

Thank you for the encouragement ABC. This has been a dark day for me and many other Americans. It has only pressed me to fight even harder!
Makes me sick...let's hope I don't need to go the doctor!!
I checked out your blog first and it gives me great comfort to read what you wrote! Buck up campers! Fresh courage take....let's not go gently! Let the protesting and fight continue only with greater force! :)N
Shameful. Just shameful. What else can you say?
I am just sick about this. But I'll be damned if I'm going to just roll over and let them do this to me, to us. I will fight in any way I can to keep this country from going the direction these democrats want.
Hack:
Just because we lost the battle doesn't mean we lost the war. We simply need to adopt their attitude. Get rid of this bill no matter what, even if we have to repeal amendments.
Kelsey Kim:
Let's pray we can rid ourselves of ObamaCare before any of the bad stuff comes down the pike.
Nikki:
You have the exact attitude we all need to have.
Karen:
It is shameful but, it is also a wake up call that our government has no problem working against us. It is time for us to start shrinking this government back to a manageable size.
Janie Lynn:
Perfect attitude. Lets all start learning where this bill's weak points are and start immediately chipping away.
Well now that the constitution and the will of the people are irrelevant, how do we get things done around here?
28th amendment time, Clifton and all!
Thanks for the words of encouragement. I hope we get a few days to recover (I'm tired) before we have to begin the next battle; immigration and cap n trade. They have no intention of stopping. I hope my fax machine doesn't give out!
A dark day for freedom, but you're right,Americans don't quit.Look at it this way, now there is no question about who our enemies are and what their intentions are and more people may still wake up. These traitors days in power are numbered no matter how hard they grasp at the reigns.
It was crazy tonight. There is a part of me that really wonders what is going to happen.
I wholeheartly concur ABC ...Right Kilk, here's what we can do, States bring on the challenges, lawsuits and start passing State bills and state law nullifying this new federal law, then in November vote the bums out......all of them. Then repeal this thing before it gets started and NEVER let this happen again.
Clifton, a big AMEN to everything you said too my friend.
Clifton, have you seen (well heard) this audio from Ronald Reagan? Circa 1961... incredible. Its worth a 10 minute listen. It was posted yesterday on the FB page of one of my local candidates, David Harmer. I thought it was poignant given the events of yesterday. I posted it on my blog too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRdLpem-AAs
With humility AND pride? Really? Nazi Piglosi needs to acquaint herself with a dictionary because that's kind of, like, IMPOSSIBLE. What a f---ing retard.
They are joining those who established Social Security, Medicare, and now healthcare for all Americans... bankrupting the country and submitting our children and grandchildren to lives of servitude to the state for generations to come...
Kennedy made healthcare his life's work, because he never had to WORK a day in his life and actually know what it felt like to have fully ONE-THIRD of his hard-earned pay automatically garnished by the government to fund graft and blatant stupidity (and creating the means to devise ever more, and more creative, means of stealing an even larger chunk) and didn't give a shit about those of us living hand to mouth, scraping along in the economy he and his ilk created.
Access to healthcare is the great unfinished business of our society? Again, the disingenuous claim that healthcare equates to health insurance. They are NOT the same, unless they figure that the rights of everyone existing prior to the advent of health insurance were "violated" by not having it. Everyone in this country has ACCESS to NECESSARY healthcare - EVERYONE - illegal, indigent, black, red, white, or fucking purple - IT'S THE LAW. Just because access to NECESSARY care means it doesn't cover someone's breast implants or hair plugs or gastric bypass or sex change or BOTOX, doesn't make it any less significant, moral, ethical, or whatever terms they're throwing around at any given time.
If you're an illegal immigrant in labor - with no insurance - and show up at the ER, they are required BY LAW to treat you.
If you're some dumbass driving 90 mph, drunk as a skunk, and suddenly become intimate with a telephone pole - with no insurance - they are required BY LAW to treat you.
If you're some useless piece of skin that refuses to work and chooses to suck the government titty and show up at the ER for the sniffle you've had all week, they are required BY LAW to treat you.
All before they can even THINK about asking you about payment.
We have witnessed the death of the Republic. They won't even have the decency to bury the corpse, instead choosing to pike the head like Vlad the Impaler, leaving it to rot in the summer sun and forcing us to watch.
RightKlik:
By using what we have left to make those in charge irrelevant.
Jenny:
That's a girl, just push on. They want to wear us down with all this big gov nonsense.
Janelle:
You betcha!

Excellent way of looking at the situation my friend.
Mike:
You are right, if the Federal government wants to drive off a cliff, there is no reason why states should just blindly follow.
Lisa:
Actually I heard this Reagan speech a while ago. What always amazes me about Reagan speeches is that they are as true today as they were then.
Angie Lee:
BRAVO! Well said!
