Memorial Day: Remember to give thanks

This Memorial Day as we all go about doing what we choose to do, be it shopping, barbeques, mini vacations or a Memorial Day parade. Please remember that your freedom to choose these activities came with a price. Take time to say a prayer of thanks to your God, for all of those service men and women who have secured your freedom through their ultimate sacrifice.

Even better, for those of you who can, follow this advice.

Thank you for the advice and the link. I really enjoyed reading it and will take it to heart. It is nice to know some people remember what Memorial Day is really about. My cousin in the SEALS would appreciate it too.

Most of us will never be privy to what these guys/gals see and do. They are young 18 year olds (for the most part) that are forced to see a side of humanity no one person should have to live with, and yet they do for love of country.

I hope God grants forgiveness for all of our soldiers since they are put in this position by our politicians. God has mercy for all of our sins, I hope our soldiers are first in line.
